Well due to bad planning I didn’t ahave enough space to edit my original post correctly.

Elementalist:

See engi but channeled skills from kits and attunements can be used while already in different attune/kit. Examples are Elix gun 3 and fire attune/water dagger 2.

Tornado BOOSTS power or pre-channeled skills. (staff fire 5)

Earth Ring (earth 2) blocks projectiles for a short period even though its not listed.

The leap on magnetic grasp doesn’t have to pass out of field to proc, just as long as you pass over some part of the field during the cast you get the leap-finish effect.

Lightning flash combos: earthquake + lightning flash (top of jump), burning speed + lightning flash (piles up the burn fields on location for more dps too

lightning flash—>updraft (nearly instant cc)

Dodge-roll (with evasive arcana)—>firegrab gets a nice burn on your opponent for taht extra firegrab damage.

Aim phoenix just behind where your enemy is for 3x damage (hit going, blast damage, hit coming back

Necromancer:

Lich boosts power as-well. Notable for sigils, and wells.

Lich will proc sigils and traits. Makes them hurt considerably worse

Chill of death trait is un-avoidable no matter what ( only endure pain/invuln with current condis can prevent it)

Chill plauge- plauge with blind causes chill trait makes aoe chill/blind.

Mesmer:

Laying an exit portal then stomping half a second later will allow you to port away mid stomp ad take your port back to the downed player to finish the stomp.

After pulling your temporal curtain, the combo field remains there but invisible for the duration that the skill would have lasted.

With at least 15 points into domination, using a chaos storm and daze shatter onto your enemies will leave them on 25 stacks of vulnerability

Illusionary leap cancel. Illusionary leap has a cast time of 3/4 seconds but the clone jumps out immediately.

Ranger:

dead pet doesn’t condi cleanse.
Use about face with sword 2 for a great mobility skill.

Thief: (see Lux’s post below for more)

Steal MID WAY THROUGH d/p 5 2 combo won’t break stealth. There needs to be video guides for this as there is ( I think) several ways to use this.

We need a list/video/thread of all teleports for sword 2/shortbow 5/etc

Use sword 2 BELOW treb while targeting it to tele next to it attack and retreat. Repeat as needed for ez treb killing

If you use signet of malice combine it with caltrops ( no current viable use in tpvp) or dagger storm (has several uses) for effective healing.

Angle camera for x4 HS in a BP

Using SoH steal will not cancel the action of ressing an ally or stomping an enemy and it will interrupt the enemy’s action.

Stolen whirling axe also can reflect projectiles unlike the warrior version

Steal can be used without a target to reap benefits from thrill of the crime

The ONLY time I know of when you can exit a shadow refuge without revealing yourself is if you are downed inside of it and you teleport out of it. At that point you will maintain as much stealth as you accumulated

Stealthed treb shots give no warning.

Get creative with teleport stomps, aka inf signet, steal, shadow step ( see mesmer with portal) etc.

Engi:

See ele for channel trick

you can cancel EG 4 right away and still get the damage proc

FT 3 ( since no one reads the tooltip) REFLECTS projectiles for just over a second.

Nades do not get reflected well/at all. Use targeting (near) them to avoid bubbles etc.

Bomb kit can stealth you, ( flame turret too but we all hate turrets)

Rifle 4 is a 3s knockdown. Combine with Immob (#2) at last second for very effective CC.

Shield 5 can stun THEN be thrown elsewhere for a double CC.

Blast finisher from turret is where the engi is, not the turret.

Slick shoes only knocks people down who move. STAND STILL IF CAUGHT. Then you can use skills while standing still.

Engi is only profession who can by himself interupt stomp with big bomb. Place it then cripple,chill or be on extreme edge with bomb and stomp and the launch will interupt down guy allowing stomp.

Toolkit box of nails removes blinds in aoe radius

Super speed + rocket boots. Self explanitory.

Guardian:

The healing breeze heals allies DOUBLE the tooltip. (also heals you normal amount)

Mace 3 blocks for all allies in circle for 1 hit

Staff 4 affects minions/spirits etc and scales silly stupid stong with AH.

Sanctuary isn’t perfect. Stand at the edge and you can (depending on profession/weapon) can probably hit the guardian still.

Warrior:

you can dodge in whirling axe
cancel flurry after 1st hit for full immob

Others:

Flesh golem/fire greatsword charge/ whirlwind (warr gs 3)/ and a few others if used while immob, or against someone in a corner can do INSANE damage if not 1 shot them.

Dodging while immob’d is possible is its spammed immidiatly after getting immob’d.

Stand behind immob’d people. They cannot turn around highly limiting their attacks.

Launch skills can MOVE downed state enemies. Can be situational but very helpful.

Interupt stomps can be a guarunteed stomp against mesmer and others. see engi

You can use evade skills during immob


Auto attack canceling benefitted skills ( I am sure most do but these are the most prevailent)
example:d/d ele using lightning whip hits 2x during 1s: once during the 1/2s cast and once during the 1/2 after-cast. Signet of restoration procs on the first hit. Thus practice cancel-casting lightning whip to get the same dps but double healing with signet of restoration.

Thief:
Inf arrow has an arc so it can cause LoS issues. However if you understand the arc you can bypass some LoS issues by jump casting inf arrow. Note: it’s significantly more difficult now for newer thieves to understand the arc since a patch has removed the actual arrow animation.

Shadow shot if reflected by an enemy will teleport the enemy to YOU.

Your down skill 1 when stealthed can be thrown twice and land twice if there is sufficient distance between you and the enemy. You could also probably shoot two surprise shots if you used haste.

You can purposely reveal yourself with a mug steal after you have precast your backstab to take advantage of the new GM trait that gives +400? power while revealed.

Shadowshot backstab for a teleporting backstab that also blinds.

Using your downed teleport skill to LoS a downed warrior/engie 2 skill to ensure your ally gets the stomp

Don’t forget SB5 is also an aoe blind.

Cluster bomb has a sizable impact radius but a very small area where it must land, meaning you can cluster an area right outside of the sanctuary, wall of reflection, smoke screen and it will still hit everyone for full damage.

Choking gas will not reveal you—throw gunk WILL reveal you.

Crit haste trait will only visually make you stomp faster—you must stand still until the stomp is completely processed or you will interrupt it.

Juke stomping eles is possible if you start the stomp right before they mist form it will be just enough time to successfully complete it—you may need to teleport if they move.

If you cast HS as a Mesmer uses her downed stealth port you will HS to her new hidden location and you can proceed to BP auto attack there.

If you blind a Mesmer her clone or illusion spawn will fail and be on full recharge.

Hide in shadows removes poison before proccing the heal affect so poison will not affect the efficacy of the heal (don’t forget it also removes all bleed stacks and burning)!

Stealthed treb shots give no warning.

Cluster bombing a smoke field when an enemy is stomping an ally will stealth the ally but keep you revealed so you can keep or contest a point while your stealthed ally has another opportunity to be ressed.

Jumpcasting HS can by bypass some obstacles that would otherwise obstruct the pathing to your target.

Mesmer additions:

Illusionary leap cancel. Illusionary leap has a cast time of 3/4 seconds but the clone jumps out immediately. Sheath cancel the cast time after the clone jumps out to allow for another ability (like an auto to remove blind/aegis before swapping) note casting swap immediately automatically cancels the aftercast if you don’t want to cast anything else

Forward Phase Retreat: Disable auto-targetting and use about face keybinding to teleport forwards using phase retreat.

Just wanted to clarify this one point: the functionality described here does not work anymore. The shot portion and shadowstep are unblockable now, so feel free to use this on reflecting enemies who are low to kill them if need be too.

This also makes it even more impossible to run from a thief, as if that pesky block could stop them!
