Creating special cases such as “Fire and Air can’t proc together” is exactly the sort of design they are trying to move away from, because it simply complicates the system and makes it difficult to jump into fresh.
Being able to add damage in an on-crit proc is simply bad design, in my opinion. I’d rather they just remove both and balance around the absence.
