Petting Zoos in tPvP
Spirit ranger are not a AI build… it’s a passif/support/petting zoo build. Do you see the spirits moving by themself? Fighting by themself? No
Yeah spamming AA… Try spirit ranger and only use SB#1 in tournaments. I’m sure you’ll be great Personnaly I use all my weapon’s skills. Something must be wrong with me

This is currtenly prolly my biggest complaint besides the horrible balance. The amount of AI is kittened and this should have been taken care of yesterday.

Remove aoe cap in PvP.

I honestly just miss the days of power builds//watching and interrupting skills. When you’re up against 1-3MMs/1-2 Spirit rangers spamming a point and you can’t see the player or the cast animations it just sucks. Anet shouldn’t be coddling unskilled players in PvP. There’s PvE for that. PvP should be about skill and only skill. That’s where the fun of PvP comes from: out kiting, thinking, maneuvering the opponent and not just standing there: target, drop marks, lolpettingzooawayyyy!
Anyways, it’s nice to see I’m not the only one who’s frustrated by this. Didn’t think anyone would reply, thanks guys.

Except minions have warrior like hp/toughness/dmg… Cuz that makes sense.

One big problem with pet-zoo specs (Spirit rangers and mm necros) is that even when you target someone your single target skills are more likely going to hit a random minion/spirit/pet around him…even more when mm and rangers exploit this sitting on pets to “deviate” skills like backstab on the pet instead, even if not targeted (Let alone trying to target someone into the mess) …we all know it’s a bug and yeah every “top” (lol) goes away exploting that all day long..jumping into a friendly pet zoo is the best counter to single target skills atm, and that’s another reason why 90% of pvp atm is based on aoes…fixed target priority…my kitten

Two solutions that don’t involve “only allow 1 pet”:
a) Allow all damage targeted at the player to pierce through their pets, i.e. no more body-blocking with AI. PvP change only, in PvE they can continue to body-block.
b) Completely remove AoE cap in PvP.
just wanted to say my 2 cent:
playing agaiinst pet zoos is indeed very frustrating but that’s not the only problem, it also increase the general chaos that already dominate pvp.
Seriusly asuras can result to be completely hidden from pets, just wtf
