We do not have any plans to allow display name changes. That could change in the future, of course, but it is not something that is currently on the “to do” list or slated for development.

Not at this time. It may, or may not, be offered in the future.
What has been brought up in the past as a main reason against implementing such a change is accountability – namely they don’t want bad apples to be able to change their name and pretend to be someone new.
