It ended with John Corpening saying:

I really think that, almost one year later, it is time a new dialogue starts. Some things have changed in pvp (namely the reward system) and some events (I think about weekly 2on2 cups for example) have shown that TDM modes are indeed possible.

So please ANET, start a new CDI on the matter or at least give us an official statement on what has changed behind the scenes in the last 10 months..

Tbh there’s not much to say and imo a CDI is not necessary. All we need is a teamQ for 2vs2, the new GvG maps which have been leaked (with their own queue) and ladders with rewards based on your ranking for each of the 3 modes.

Yeah, but basically with PVE and WWW old CDI we saw some new stuff in the game, with the old spvp CDI…we are still waiting for new game modes, seasons and leagues.

So it’s ok a constructive topic but if nothing happens….people lose hopes and new CDI are totally pointless.
