Guild Wars 2

So this will be my second season. I admit that I came to season 5 for that quick ascended gear and other rewards. However I learned to love PvP and even learned to PvP. Still need some work….

So I will play because I have come to love to play PvP as it is get gud or quit imo. I am in no way slated for gold or even platinum but I don’t care. It’s not about the rewards for me anymore but to just play some PvP and hope for a good match-up on a system that still needs tweaks.

It is interesting to see people win 10 straight and some lose 10 straight. I have been close to both sides of the fence. While I have yet to step into season 6 I look forward to hunting you down (hopefully) or having some good team battles (hopefully).

Basically in the same spot. I’m not concerned about rewards, because I raid a lot and I’m swimming in ascended gear and magnetite shards.

I’m enjoying the learning experience. Between Thief, Dragonhunter, and Warrior, I have enough to learn.

I don’t play either. I have tried them but I am more of a ranged player so Necro and Ranger for me. I do the medi trapper roam for WvW group runs but other than that range all the way. I would LOVE to learn my Mesmer a bit better before I venture into ranked else I make a fool of mahself.

EDIT: Hit button too early. I have played Warrior and Guard in unranked but it is not for me but I do think Guard is a little more difficult lest you burn all you skills and die during the CD’s.

don’t worry about making a fool of yourself. just enjoy yourself. I got shamed alot for playing a dps ele. always end with most dmg and kill but wathever. people in ranked are as bad as in unranked. you better learn in ranked

hehe. I don’t mind testing and playing with builds in unranked. It is funny how people get trolled in rank to go play unranked and then you go to unranked and people get trolled to uninstall the game. Only so much you can test on weak class NPCs and Trons

I just prefer to test in unranked but I cannot duplicate what Mesmers do to my other toons.. so a learning i must go.

-shrug- new to both. map rotations, mechanics, among many other things. I mean, it looks easy, but I have less practice with both.

Learn was the wrong word. Practice is more appropriate.
