Seriously: Just play DH
DH is so good that was only one in the six teams at the world tournament last weekend (and didn’t went too well for him). Which means: if you known how to play the game and you’re in a conformed team you probably want a different class filling the slot of that DH.
Was there even a single DH in the ESL? I don’t remember seeing any.
Again, Average of 6 DH in high diamond is telling of how strong this class is,
I’m not IN a pro league. I’m playing the game that Anet has devised for you and me. Not pro gamers. Those guys are all in a team and spend their lives playing this game. I’m just ranking and in the world of ranking (not the world of pro play), DH are the strongest most useful profession and is telling just by the sheer number of players playing DH in high Diamond and Legendary.
if you are not pro, your opinion for balance is = 0, casual players know nothing.
dh overpower is only a hype from forum, how much more you cry here, more the noobs will try to use it in ranked games.
Two things: DH effortless slays below average players and class stacking causes more troubles … both are things not applicable in esl play. But this is a minority.
In solo Q or even temmatches diamond+ this is a real problem.
I suggest that premade teams can not stack classes. Random stackin should be as low as possible but i see this might cause scheduling problems with Q times.

There actually was, wich was the reason that group lost, the DH loked a ragdoll :}, they also had a thief, but thief atm isnt on good spot because some other classes can make high damage w/o effort, so thief role has been stolen to more noob carring classes wich is all what gw2 is about and known for…
Still:
Hammer rev if well played bashes DH trapper, Warrior bashes DH, even vanilla engie can beat a DH, with the power creep in spvp and the lack of some stats for some classes , some just cant yolo it has other do.

DragonHunter is strong vs. teams that do not communicate. focusing a DH on visual cue/ having someone on TS say "Hey, [ArmoredWizardGuard26] dropped his circles on point X is their hard counter.
Now if your team doesn’t communicate those traps are gonna hurt. It’s also strong 1v1 vs some classes, but good conquest teams almost never have this happen.
Looking at this objectively, both sides have a point. There’s a valid reason why it is dead weight almost for organized team matches, but more effective the less people communicate. The problem I’m having is determining what should be balanced, if anything at all, to deal with this.
In Structured PVP you’re paired with a team that can assist you in just noting what DH is doing. I’d think it would be easier to hop on a TS than ask for DH innards to be rearranged, especially because class balancing is almost always hit-or-miss and I really dont want -more- condi mes.
I could just be deluded but I don’t think the answer for the problem of (DHs are too strong) is (nerf DH) this time. I think it’s (Play smarter), even though I don’t actually play one.

I used to think (build op, pls nerf) like you, but then I took a nerf to the knee.

Every objective is easy.
- Node control: Traps. Easy. Just sit in traps while having incredible amounts of block uptime
- Mobs / Objective: Chief / Svanir or enemy Lords on Foefire, it doesn’t matter. Place a ton of traps on them and they die like instantly. They can’t survive 5 seconds of 2 DH traps.Anet has made it incredibly obvious that they want you to play DH this season. You can do everything. Enjoy that EZ obtained Legendary all you DH pros! <3 <3 <3 <3
competitive pvp is so fun and balanced in this game!
Plz dude don’t confuse people – they will pick DH and get eaten by smokescales…
Most druids I bet are happy this season

I dont think that the trap damage or CC is a big issue in itself.
The biggest problem comes from Class Stacking leading to massive amounts of Area Denial bursts, and the size of these traps (as well as MANY other AOEs currently) relative to the Points we’re contesting.
If Class Stacking is resolved in some way when it comes to ranked matches, and their traps are made smaller (or the points larger), maneuvering around them wouldn’t be so bad, I feel.
