Shadowstep is so OP
So after having nerfed to the ground every thief’s skill/weapon, now it’s the time to make useless shadowstep
but they’re a lot stronger
than they will be next year!
50s CD “double” stun breaker. Clear 3 condis if you will use chain skill. 1200 range.

The second chain skill is Shadow return https://wiki.guildwars2.com/wiki/Shadow_Return which is stunbreaker, clears 3 condis (nothing special) and 1200 teleport where you can`t choose where to teleport (you just know where you will be ported back).
I don`t see nothing special on Shadowstep if I will compare it to other similar skills. “Side” effects which are connected to this kind of skill are different for different classes, f.e.
Thief – stunbreaker, clear 3 condis, teleport

I would swap any utility on any class for shadowstep. It is the best utility in the game bar none. Should the best utility in the game not be nerfed?
Sorry, but you are not even trying to see that other classes have similar abilities. And you as necro have one (!!!!). So the problem is not Shadowstep, it`s you….and maybe your “team” as you are still talking about “them” in other threads where you are yelling for nerfs.
I tried some thief and shadowstep is lol.
It basically makes thief 0 skill. It is impossible to die because whenever you mess up you just shadowstep out.
It is a stun break (basically double stun break)
A 1200 range instant cast teleport
It removes a ton of condis
It is only on a 40s cd of something after the return (lol)Solutions (one of the following):
1, Make it not a stun break
2, Make it not remove any condis.
3, Reduce the range to 600
4, Increase the cd to 90 seconds
5, Make the cd only start when the return is used and increase the cd to 70 secondsSo skill-less. Impossible to die on thief because of this skill.
Question: Have you ever encountered traps or symbols and tried to use shadowstep past them? What have you learned?
He just don`t know how thief works. He was just beaten by some and he`s crying here for nerfs. As necro – the best slot for teamplay.

I would trade shadowstep for endure pain in a heartbeat. Now that would be OP on a thief.
No mather how much they nerf thief some of you will always cry for more. Dmg on backstab is so funny that no1 even try to dodge it anymore, it’s hard to land it and dmg kinda sux. Thief will die in team fight even if no1 focus him. And most of you cry how OP it is, i dont like them either but i learn how to beat them. Learn to play ur own class, and dont come straight from pve to pvp with attitude that you will be good, coz you wont. Btw my main is ranger and i dont play druid bunker, i play most of the time gs/lb marauder build. Now start flaming how ranger is op, i don’t play ele and guard.
the long nerf list is totaly out of scope. The skill fits thief. The only thing that should go is the condi removal on it and if compensation is needed maybe lower CD 5 seconds.
