Currently Heart of the Mists is filled with grey broken pillars, useless ruins, and bland material. There’s a lot of blank space baby (T-Swift knows it). This suggestion thread has been created in order to grab some attention to the HoTM. As it stands, the HoTM is a sad, sad place.
Recently I have started the same topic over at the Guild Wars 2 subreddit: http://www.reddit.com/r/Guildwars2/comments/3amkvu/petition_to_redesign_the_heart_of_the_mists/
There is an outcry for change and it is now up to Anet to decide what to do. Obviously they are facing their biggest PR challenge so far with the current expansion pack situation, however, it is time to bring the HoTM to the light.
As someone who loves to wait on my broken queue times in the PvP holding area, I would like to see maybe a mystic forge? Maybe some cool structures? Something unique, rather than the blandness we currently have. Mini-games perhaps? Why not turn those trebuchets out in the fields into a mini-game? Others have mentioned maybe a jumping puzzle?
A-net has said time and time again that they want to be accountable to the level of excellence they have set before themselves. So, here we are. The HoTM has been best described my reddit user, Maldrame, "It is a great and terrible waste of space that has the greatest potential in the game. "
Please give your thoughts on this suggestion as I intend on submitting this to the Arena net house floor on a bill attached with the expansion pack.
(For those who don’t understand, it is merely a joke on how things change in gov.)
Every up vote counts
(Yes, I am writing this as I am waiting in a PvP ranked queue)
