EVERY class should be able to do something vs everything – thats how the game is designed
Every class CAN do something vs everything.
The question is, whether you equipped the right stats/weapons/utilities to deal with that something.
You’ll never be able to equip one build that counters every other build in the game.
Most engies are gonna have around 18k health. When at 25% health where it kicks in your looking at like 4k health or less left. If you cant do 4k dmg without using conditions change your build. Just cus you decided to go full 100% condi dmg build doesn’t mean you should get an I win button.
I am an engineer too (go figure with a name like Bombsaway).
I agree something needs done.
This is a very PvP problem. In other modes, the engineer still has very little health and there are multiple sources of physical damage in a group to burn him.
But in PvP where the teams are smaller and you have capping, it can be annoying.
The only balance is that the engineer is a bit easy to knock off point having little stability.
I wouldn’t take it out of the game. I would make it more of a percentage (say 40%) and I would even think of increasing the trigger point from 25% damage to 33% damage. I think the idea was to make it slower to kill an engineer, but it is getting a bit too “really hard” for some builds to kill that engineer.
Lower the percentage of mitigation. Increase the trigger point.

with protection this 4k is 8k i have dmg to do
than engi has perma reg what heals most autoattacks a condiclass can do PASSIVE
AND not only condis dont work on them even corupt boon canĀ“t be used to atleast remove the regeneration on engi or fear or blind or chill …. NOTHING works
and this is absolut terrible gamedesign
i can understand maby imun on 25% for condiDAMAGE for 10-15 seconds but not all conditions
or lower condiduration
or he get more physical damag like 50% more when imun to conditons
but how it is now its just wrong
