The game isn’t worth streaming in the current state. A majority of the time it’s just going to be the player standing around in the Mists. When they do finally get into a match, if they’re playing in a premade, they probably just stomp everyone. Watching people go 500-0 isn’t really exciting. Most won’t soloq, however that’s a different can of worms all together.
Nobody is streaming because there are not enough ppl that would watch this kitten being played. What’s there to see ? unbalanced teams and classes ? Everyone playing turet engis and cele ele ? Spvp is boring when u play it and even more so when u watch it.
I think we all have different definitions for “Active streamers”. I want someone I can watch their past broadcast of every 1-3 days with 1-3 hours of broadcasts every 1-3 days.

Phanta streams almost every day, Noscoc and chaith are starting to stream more often.
Yeah sizer has stopped playing but he streams sometimes in the week.
Rom is more like a casual streamer.
I see two big problems with streaming pvp in GW2 at the moment :
A/ There’s no IG competition. Ranks means nothing. MMR is not shown in game. Leaderboards are only available on a website, and means nothing at the moment (#1 is a 48% win turret engy). It is genuinely hard for streamers to “show off” and get viewers from it.
B/ Queue times. Good players often get 5+ minutes of queues (+2 minutes of match preparation). How fun is it to watch a stream where the streamer spends literally half the time waiting for a match to begin ?

just search all top 1000 in NA and EU and can’t find you. there isn’t a search in the leaderboard so I’m just using the finder in firefox. What are you trying to prove? I’m saying its not worth my effort to stream casue no one would respect it, you saying the same thing. then bashing me thinking I’m looking to my MMR as some secure Right, when all I’ve said was I’ve worked hard to get it.
You know what your mmr is? MMR has nothing to do with you leaderboard ranking.

So lets be even more real and on topic here, who would watch a high MMR on twich during a season and give away all their strategies, for other people to learn off of then disregard the source.
I mean wow, if the potential blow back from claiming #1 from a grind from me ( who already admitted its a grind) it is this much. Can you imagine the wasted effort there will be for someone with MMR? somoene will always argue something else even if they are wrong. For example

As for my Matchmaking Rating its the best I could do, I want to be better, so i practice, but I can’t really get acurrate numbers if i keep losing because of new players on my team your 55% solo isn’t that far off one win streak on a friday night and i could get that back too. in case you haven’t notice I’m taking a ladder vacation right now, cause I’m sick of other people ruining it for me as per my other post which you have been following. I’m pretty consistent in my statement here.
So why don’t you contribute to this steaming topic now instead of focusing on me? I said I won’t steam cause it’ll just be a mess of me complaining or trying to pick up after someone else’s mess. You say i’m 4% below your solo mmr last season so am qualified as bad, well i never said i was good, I’m fully aware time play equals higher on ladder. I’ve just played the most, the best I could which means every game meant everything to me.
If I were to stream that’ll just devalue every effort and lesson learned. for someone like you to put a simple one liner in. I may be new to the spvp scene, and I may be a bit strict by insisting some decent rotations, but I’ve got enough self respect to stand against an obvious frame.
I will be setting up a consistent stream soon. I stopped streaming lately because of WTSIQ, then i got sick and lost my voice X(. I will try to stream everyday when my voice comes back. My stream is in my signature

DOTA2 hasn’t changed in 2 years, just the picks/meta. Same with GW2. Thousands of people watch DOTA2 every day.
I just start streaming ranger spvp game play soloq a few days ago and doing very well. I sometimes have a few friends join, but tbh it’s more fun with friends personally. (Two friends, mostly just one)

1st thread was to bring attention to an issue with possible solutions, second thread (this one is related) I gave my inputs take it or leave it, third thread was a one liner. It would help if people didn’t need to wait in Heart of Mists for 1-20 minutes for their tournaments. Would you expect a streamer to keep doing his ‘show’ if half of his content involves him standing in a boring lobby filled with noobs make stupid comments in map chat?
If any of the developers watched many PvP streams in the past, they would know that not many streamers waited in the HotM, but rather did dueling, hotjoin, wvw, etc. Also there is no leaderboard anymore so people are just playing for ‘fun’. When you consider the above mentioned points, many are not having enough ‘fun’ in the new system to justify putting up with all the new bullkitten they pushed through in the Dec. 2014 patch.
Actually there is alot of people watching this game even more now with HoT announcement people are wanting to watch the game before they buy it. That being said I did a 24hr marathon couple weeks back and received so many GW2 followers when I didn’t play GW2 for about 3 weeks straight they slowly unfollowed. So there is a huge viewerbase! You just have to be good at streaming and fun to hang out with and people will watch and play

Leaderboards is currently a grind, so please don’t brag about being the person who got most hours to put into the game…
Secondly: you look like you see yourself as a top player. Why wouldn’t you show your builds? If you ever were to play in a tournament (which is where top players are) then everyone would know your build. Finding the best builds and sharing them with the community, including tips and tricks is what help the community grow. The fact that “top players” won’t stream because they won’t give away their “secrets” is just plain stupid and one of the main reasons this community won’t grow any larger.
If you are in fact a top player, it won’t matter if people know your build. If you are that good then you will still wreck those players who just copied it. Most of the top players can play almost any build and still carry games. This game is 99% about awareness, good rotations and mechanical skill. Build is that last 1%.
