Yea were back! And with the end of the leaderboard system in our near future, it is time for the last top 15… This list compiles the top 15players on Backpack Co’s Internal Leaderboards ©

Within the top 15 il be creating 2 lists : 15 top 1v1s (Meta builds only) 15 top team fighters

1v1: These players demonstrate over and over their ability to 1v1 anyone one in high pressure situations

Nothing but preppy popular kids, I see these guys every sticking day I decide to support GW2 by watching streams.

Not even like they seriously compete against each other, or any rivalries in existence.

Also, I’ve never seen any of those guys in actual games (I’ve played over 2 thousand games tournament) except for Tarcis and Ostrich Eggs. Those other guys don’t even play regular game (tournaments) besides those Twitch tournaments.

It’s like a list of the people who are in a GW2 fraternity.

but honestly, no one care since gw2 isn’t real esport game like LoL. it is mmorpg, just play casually man. There is not even a league like LoL offers to its programers with enormous rewards.

Interesting that you don’t think Noscoc or Caed are top 15 in team fighting especially given that you team with them.

Another list of players… would be nice to know what class(es) they play. What good is a list of names…

Um…… there was this one team q game that my team at the time (sharkswithlazers) 500-0d nyhmx’s team. He lost to me in 18sec (shatter mes) he ran dbl endure, but ate every mirror blade in between those because he dbl dodged for what ever reason….. I’m only saying this to point out that he only wins against wvw players and saying he could win against any of those 15 is highly comical.

I’ve pvped with a lot of these guys and they’re pretty good, but there are a few players I would rank higher… they may not win in popularity though because I’m pretty sure they’re not streamers. (At least, I haven’t seen them spam map chat with their twitches after every match like a few of the guys on this list do lol.)

The only person I would say that would spam map chat would be ostrich eggs and he does it rarely. Ppl watch those guy’s stream because there on a level that most arnt.

All the players on those lists are most definitely skilled players, OEggs teamqued with us (FPX)the other day and we were destroying people mostly because he would plant his kitten at far and proceed to 1v2 1v3 the other team giving us the advantage on every other point.

I always find it amusing when people decide that these players aren’t skilled and that random guy they know from solo q is so much better than all of them but cannot break into tourneys because it’s some sort of secret society or popularity contest. Morons.

On this account (my second account which was created in June of this year) I’ve won 308 matches and lost 259 in team arena, then won 156 solo q matches and lost 123. On my old account I won about 500 and lost about 450 team q matches and won 407 matches in solo q while losing 373. (My account used to be called Lindsey.2691 but was changed to BEETLEjay.2459 and then I just quit using the account entirely and started fresh on this account for personal reasons).

You guys really shouldn’t jump to harassment just because someone disagrees with you. In fact, it doesn’t actually help your cause because it shows how much of a jerk you are.

Lemme guess ‘plant his kitten far’ as in Ostrich Eggs is the reason why everyone is whining about turrets. ‘1v2 1v3ing people’ “unbeatable” “breaking spvp” “tone him down!”
Pretty OP if you ask me, Ostrich Eggs should be #1 1v1’er if he can do 1v2 1v3 far and makes every other node easy pickings.

Ostrich Eggs shouldn’t be on Team Play if all he does is ‘1v2 1v3 at far’.

If anything there should be a 1v2 1v3 leaderboard as well, and see who can be unbeatable the most or who can break spvp or so tough that people want them toned down. To me, how you describe Ostrich, sounds like what I just said, unbeatable, needs toning down, and hes breaking spvp. He’d probably be the only one on the 1v2 1v3 leaderboard, along with the other engies, not sure if chaith plays 1v2 1v3 engy #unbeatable #breakingspvp #needstoneddown style.

TapDatMouse and CloudFly would own you guys, like he did to those guys in the video I showed earlier in WvW and heres one in PvP, https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=enhBvwiFyi4 he beat 8 people 1v1 no rest. I don’t see any videos of the preppy popular kids doing that. CloudFly doesn’t really stream, he just owns people all day, cant show you his l33tness.

Just having a random 1v1 tournament that probably had only 20 participants doesn’t make them the best at 1v1. Theres millions of players in the game. Around 20 people is a tiny fraction of types of playstyle and skills the other 999,980+ people have to offer.
Also theres no videos of this either in this thread. How can we judge them if we don’t even know who they faced? each other?

No brackets or any proof, just information that’s not really valid is all I’m seeing here.

I was actually in the same guild as nhmyx when I was on DB, I’m familiar enough with him.

But no Oeggs wasn’t on a turret engi.

I’ve watched phanta on stream constantly 1v2 and 1v3 people. I’ve seen plenty of others destroy a bunch of people 1v1….. but I’m not going to say they are better than anyone on that list because of it.

Hatuey is a good example I’ve seem him go 10-0 in koth server and while he very well might be just as good as any of those players listed I can’t say for sure, although I have seem him in tourney play and he is very good.

He was kind enough to q up with some lesser experienced players so we followed his lead and on the match I’m talking about we almost 500-0d the other team until they just went 5 to their home to finally take oeggs out, I think the game ended at like 500-8 or something like that. But saying that if all he does is 1v2 and 1v3 he shouldn’t be in teamq is kittening crazy, it makes him an invaluable teammate.

Well if it’s based on winning tournaments and duels that’s one thing, and they should mention that in the OP rather than claiming that these are the best players in NA. It would be like announcing that the winner of your high school’s spelling bee is the best speller in the country lol.

Sure it might be a tournament, but tournaments like this is WHY there’s on average 2,000 people watching advertised gw2 major twitch tournaments.
Nobody wants to see reruns of the same people fighting each other.
Nobody wants to see the same preppy kids fight each other.
Already seen these kids fight each other, I want to see them fight real champions.
Go get a video with one of these guys fighting CloudFly.
Go be on a video with TapDatMouse showing you in a long line of other people waiting to get there kitten handed to them. TapDatMouse did his own 1v1 tournament in that video, guess what, FLAWLESS victories!!

I aint seen no video of this backpack 1v1 tournament. If anything its just more preppy kids hyping each other up, trying to get more twitch viewers.

TapDatMouse actually goes and finds whoever is there and destroys them, he don’t call his frat buddy and pretend fight 1v1 and then decide to go to forums and act like it was some tournament.

This is exactly why he always posts these, just to get some drama on the forums! Still those are all good players.

No one is “acting” like they won some tournaments, they really did lol, and they didn’t just make their own tourney and then win it….. they play in tourneys that anyone can join. You should get your mouse buddy to enter the tourneys.

@uberkingkong Hi. I’m Olrun. I don’t know how much you follow Nhymx, but I picked him up for the first Tournament of Legends and placed top 8. He did a really good job supporting our full burst comp, and I love the dude – he’s fun to play with. However, you’re overestimating him. He was a strong team player, but fairly weak in 1v1s.

Also @uber none if the those high level engis like chaith, oeggs, backpack etc play turret engis regularly. They know they wouldn’t be able to rotate and still be effective as a turret engi. So no they aren’t using that build.

I watched a bit of the video of tapdat in spvp and tbh I don’t think the people he was fighting are on the same level as the people the players on the list have to fight regularly?

If your sick of watching the “preppy cool kids” all fight each other over and over….. well here’s an idea get better instead of crying you don’t want to watch the same people. You do understand why it’s the same people right? It’s not some conspiracy against all players except them.

I applaud the top teams/players on the tpvp leaderboards. No doubt they’re very good in many aspects of the game on a competitive level. But a list of top 1v1 players shouldn’t exist. Period. There is no definitive measure for it. Only observation of top tpvp players, who mostly all have different team specific roles.

Someone maybe has a little crush on wakkey just a little? Dude is good, but #1-2-3? That is impressive.

Position 1 is Wakkey, position 2 and 3 are Wakkey’s tornadoes.

Is this only tourney play, having played a alot of the top na players id say celtus or his character name josre should be a top 15 player. Obvioulsy he didnt play in the tounrey but just wondering.

Sorry for necroing this thread but I’m interested now. How exactly is Wakkey best at teamfighting? Ive never really seen him play so I wouldnt really know.

Also uberkingkong I used to be like you thinking I was better than everyone on these lists but soon you’ll learn man. Everyone on this list is pretty legit. Also Tapdatmouse in all his videos basically shows himself wrecking baddies. I faced him in a soloQ, I thought he would be awful but he was actually decent, I still destroyed him 1v1.
