Mes thinks gun flame is a bit broken with 20K hits don’t you think.

Since no one believes these statements without a pic, find it below. If anyone is wondering why I got hit twice by this, it is because the first one downed me (I usually have 21K health) and 2nd one was when I was downed. Note: the player who did this then started to boast how good he was.

Wow, exactly 20k! On a serious note tho for some reason gs and rifle berserker f1 does more damage than arcing slide and killshot while they were supposed to be weaker but more spamable.

I wonder what they were smoking when they decided to make rifle burst way more stronger than melee burst? The axe/GS burst (GS primal burst is actually a nerfed version of the normal burst) should be buffed and gunflame should be nerfed IMO.

Not me haha. I don’t play Warrior at all lol. I just got a friend to show me how to play it a different way. The build is just a part of it. How to use it to kill people is a different story. I don’t think you got that part figured out since you said it sucks? xD

Because for now, it’s kinda weak to show sheer numbers, i can achieve the same on www against some upscaled thief w/o armor, while have revenant stacking buffs on me.

Or it could be taken during Beta.

Anyway you can delete the rifle from the game or nerf it to hell, i won’t cry.

It’s not any secret, you could guess

STR ARMS ZERK (Most likely this one, signet of fury is like important on berserker and there’s a signet trait and 100% crit chance on burst in arms)

STR DISC ZERK

STR DEF ZERK

Utilities could be: EP/Signet of Fury, Berserker Stance, Possibly even Signet of Might probably even using rampage.

How is this sleeper op? You get block/evade spammed to death so you have to take Signet of Might, and you can’t really sustain without using Rampage. If you use headbutt for adren you’re pretty much screwed because landing headbutt is pointless in this meta on a gunflame build.

There is NOTHING sleeper op about this build, you take signet of might then you will lose out on EP or something along those lines

20k damage is not possible in sPvP anymore. This is a troll post.

Ive posted serious dps outputs on the new zerker trait line on this forum but went back to power/def/disc for the simple fact these are gimmick builds. Easily bursted down and easily out played. All the classes have shields basically now with blinds and you want to act like this is a viable build?

Im running mace/shield-Greatsword and i laugh when i see the rifle builds with the zerk trait line. With shield use warriors/engys and eles magnectic aura can reflect this. Mesmer heal skill reflects, revanents hammer 4 skill, etc etc etc.

If you get hit twice from a kill shot warrior in the current meta its a L2P issue with cele staff druids, Long bow Dh and now alot more staff eles running around. Acting like this is a real build to be used with success is delusional.

Well most of the tears in the PvP forum have been from some warrs saying their class is not viable. But that aside, I don’t think any intelligent person would think one shot 20K insta kill skills are at all balanced or needed.

Well I didn’t have the a video recorder running. Why would I. Full screen would prove nothing as I took the pic after the event. The situation was I just initiated ranged combat with a DH in a match, straight after starting the fight I got hit from something off screen and I was downed from almost full health, checked the log and what I saw is in the pic posted. Note volley is also critting for over 4K.

if this is truely a pvp screen not wvw or something, lol
all i can say is the stars are aligned and get reckttttttttt

I think we can safely say OP is new to spvp.

Ive been playing full zerker ammy berserker with gunflame/GS in PvP since HoT release. Going over 12k is pushing it. If this log is from PvP, and not pre-HoT, or from WvW, then this guy would have had to been fully buffed and you fully debuffed for it to hit that hard. Even then it’s certainly not normal and this thread looks suspicious.

WARRIOR IS SO OP, NERF IT NOW

25 stacks of vulnerability, 25 stacks of might, scholar runes with 100% hp, all the damage traits makes gunflame only hit for 17k vs a naked target in sPvP.

Were you even in sPvP? In WvW I’ve seen much bigger damage due to food and ascended gear vs upleveled newbies. This really looks like it’s not from sPvP. It’s not difficult to get 20k+ fire grabs, back stabs, etc in WvW when you have ascended gear + food against upleveled players.

OMG I discovered the maps where this warrior build will truly shine.

This skill needs a nerf.
The rest of the warrior class needs buffs.
All the other elite specs greatly needs nerf.
Thief needs buffs.

Maybe in WvW, against a lv10 you could do that while equiped with a legendary + ascended + buffs. Anyway I don’t play WvW (cuz it’s always been a not serious PvP form). We’re in sPvP, and no IT IS NOT POSSIBLE. TESTED ETC,
Lastly it was doing 5k in crit against necros… anyway I rerolled into revenant/necro.

I don’t get why people are having trouble believing this is true, I’ve provided evidence which is obviously not doctored. The attacker obviously knew this was going to happen because he said something to the effect of…take that you (blank). So either some warrs are pretending they don’t know and are trying to protect a broken mechanic for their own gain or most do not know it exists. But I assure you this was taken from an unranked sPvP match.

I really have nothing more to add. If Anet want to check it out, I’m pretty sure they have access to chat logs and poss combat logs for my main character. I’m happy for them to pull them out and examine them..

The first hit downed the OP. The 2nd hit killed him. It’s not like he got hit twice before getting downed.

We could use some more infos. Which class you were playing, what amulet you were using, which conditions were on you, etc. It would definitely help more than “I got crit for 20k honest here’s a cropped picture to prove it”. No offense. I hope you realize how suspiciously fabricated this might look.

The fact that flame gun can do 20K crit damage would have nothing to do with my class and or stats. The most important thing would have been what flame gun build was being used. The image is cropped to not include the other player’s name. As I said I’m happy for Anet to look into this, because this looks broken to me. Why it is doing so much damage, I have no absolutely no idea, but maybe a warr who knows this build could tell you.

Exactly. And I find it unlikely that someone who has over 5k games in his belt is actually complaining about warrior and gun flame. And getting hit by it. Fyi your class and stats matter. Some classes have more defense, some don’t. Some amulets have more defense, some don’t. Get the idea? lmao. You should try harder to divert the nerf hammer from other classes to warrior.

Seems like if anyone says warr is viable or points out a broken warr skill then they must be troll right. The fact I said I want Anet to check my logs on a forum that the devs check didn’t even register. Why would someone say that if they were aiming to deceive. I also give Anet permission to post that combat log for everyone to see, I really have no problem with that.

I just posted a copy of an insta down skill hit in sPVP, that a few people are saying isn’t possible. But it is. I don’t think there is anything wrong with me doing that, and if warrs are saying it is impossible then something is broken somewhere. Therefore I’ve done the responsible thing and posted it here.
