wtf is this a bug or what? I died in tournament and cant get back to start becouse of the endless loading… cmmon its not rly funny -.-

This happened to me during a regular game of Khylo. I can hear the game/battle noises in the background but the load screen won’t go away. Had to force quit the game and relog. First time it ever did that was after 10/7 patch.

this is game bug not individual issue, happening to me and many ppl in khylo and capricom almost 100% so no rank points = no spvp till update

Gotten it too.

*Leave game – 2 minute loading screen
*Die at the wrong time – indefinite load screen
*Have a good game and for once be on a team with decent players – get booted to mists

Same problem here, I fight for 5 min in normal match, then I die and when I want to re-spawn, the map keeps loading for ages until there is a map change. But after I die again, same thing happens.

happens to me every game now. Didn’t start happening till a couple days ago.

Happened to me once right after patch then again an hour later and has happened to a friend of mine twice in a row. Fix this please.

This happened before to me. Removing my gw2 folder in ‘my documents’ fixed it. Came back on this patch and not even reinstalling gw2 worked. Game is unplayable in pvp at the moment.

Just had it happen 3 times within the last hour(restarted GW each time) this kitten needs to be fixed.

^^ Happened to 2 team members in tourney final, one was thrown out and not allowed back in the tournament.
Not Cool. I thought your code was supposed to be ‘neat and structured’ Anet, so how do you manage to break something every time you fix something?

Sorry for the inconvenience? Seriously? We just lost every second tournament because of this. At one point, 4 of our players had to restart the game on foefire.
Please fix this asap… connection lag is gone though.

Same issue here, this kinda suxx hard when half of the team needs to restart client till next death and do the same again because loading screen is forever…..

Yep happened again looks like my average freeze is once every 30 mins.

Happened to me once last night out of ~20 games.

We were already more than halfway done (on Capricorn) so I just sat on the loading screen for 5 minutes and leeched.

When the next round started the loading screen changed and I was able to play like normal. It didn’t happen again.

Whenever I die and try to respawn, it won’t let me load back into the game. It keeps me at the loading screen for a while, until I exit the game. Anyone else having this problem?

yes, twice last night and once this morning. It is extremely annoying :’(

Just ran into this. 4 people on our team got it in the same tPvP match multiple times.

This is a rather serious issue.

yeah its happening on one particular map for me, Battle of Kyolo.

Just got it aswell,
so did 2 of my teammates at the start…

why is there a loading screen when respawning actually?

i have this problem a swell, although usually it will go into the game at the start of the next game, very very annoying, i have had this problem for a while now.

Happened to me twice today as well, Getting on my nerves and tends to be a little game breaking. Hope this issue is addressed soon.

Happened to me a couple times, different maps. I think it tended to happen towards the end of the match as the first two times I was close enough to just wait for the map change, but that could have been a coincidence.

Had it twice today too. Currently on Niflhel. Very frustrating.

Pvp currently unplayable for me because of this.

This needs an emergency fix. In the course of one tournament we had two players that dropped because of that bug.

Happens to me all the time since the 7/10 patch. Game is unplayable now. Fix ASAP.

It seems to be getting worse, I can’t even get into a game now. Or if I get into one, I just lag and get booted. Been about 30 mins – 1hr like this.

Still happening. Almost every match now, and I noticed for me it’s almost always towards the end of the match.

makes spvp pretty much unplayable.

on the upside it gave me incentive to give in and buy MoP which is much better than expected, so thanks for that at least.

Im having the problem too.

My question is: Why is there a loading screen on respawn anyway? It just doesnt feel seamless to the player, let alone enjoyable to watch through a streamer.

I’ve heard somewhere that it has to do with thieves killing you. I know every time I’ve gotten the loading screen, I’ve died with a thief around or stomping me. I’ve also won a whole tourney with PUG team with 3 thieves in it. Every game at least one person on the other team got the loading screen. Can only surmise that it might have to do with quickness stomps as well.

Had it twice now myself, both times during Legacy of the Foefire games, lasts till the game ends or a restart of the client

I dont see a reason for loading screen at all when you die.

Tournaments are pretty unplayable at the moment…
Best way to win is to run around kitten zerging points capturing 1 at a time and killing people. If you kill someone theres a 50% chance they will take 6 minutes to respawn lol.

Happening constantly tonight….4th or 5th time. ANNOYING!!!!
