ppl are annoyed of bunkers fine
I think that’s horrible especially for guardians which build diversity relies on clerics. Guard is based around supporting allies through virtues and wards/shouts. If you took out toughness amulets our low heath pool would be obselete. Removal or Nerf of cele am my would be ok tho I think might stacking Nerf would be a better way of doing this. My only option being Drsgonhunter since guards don’t have Condi builds (cept burn bull) would severely limit diversity and kill alot of the population. We need toughness amulets, not traits the are so passive and overpowered that the game shifts into this state that it is

Bunkers aren’t the problem, but poorly designed objectives in Conquest are. Imho entire scoring (point holding/tick, kills and side objectives) require complete revamp, so just holding points would be less meagniful.

I think points need to be made bigger so you aren’t forced off a node if a DH or other class drops huge AoE’s. I say get rid of side objectives like lord or NPC killing and remove temple from the game completely.

Fights should be determined by superior player skill not if they kill some NPC. The fewer the mechanics the more player skill determines an outcome. Problem with some maps is a side could pull ahead or catch up even though they were losing PvP battles and couldn’t take or hold points if they kill a lord or sneak some NPC kills in. Those maps are great otherwise but Khylo seems best despite the trebuchets and narrow points because no one can kill an NPC and gain massive points. Temple is just wrong, too vertical, narrow, and too many environmental factors that mitigate skill.

If you keep Conquest with it current rules as it is now, then it always will be all about contesting points and holding points. This way offanks and tanks (read: Bunkers) will always be the most dominant in the meta as long as they are viable.
Clearly this mode requires way more points for killing enemy players, like x5 (5->25), so actualy killing enemies would be more important than afking on points.
Other thing to gain points could be place to plant Flag via Channel, easily interrupted by anything, like Channels in Temple, you don’t need PvE and NPCs to have objectives.
Khylo is the worst map imho, its like a big jumping puzzle, where Blinks are superior…
