still no change on TPVP daily 8 wins
Sooo... the people who could achieve things, like winning PvP matches by contributing significantly, now have an advantage on the achievement points board?
I see absolutely no problems with this.
Its not about winning, but having to win 8 times every single day if you dont want to miss achievements. It takes more time than all other dailies at any given day combined. Yes even if there is world ranker daily in wvw.
Yes, and the arguments given against it all seem to be "it takes me an average of 6 hours to get these wins".
With an average of a 50% win rate, the amount of time each day that you’ll be playing PvP matches for is 4 hours - most games last a little under 10 minutes, and I’m being generous with queueing times to round it up to 15 per queue+game.
I’d hope that a skilled player such as one able to get lots of achievement points would have a higher win rate than that, though maybe not by much - soloq can be unreliable for matchups sometimes. Howerver, if over an extended period of time, if you average out at more than 4 hours a day to complete these dailies... you really don’t deserve the points from them.

I’m curious. To the regular sPvP players — do you guys usually get the daily every day? If so, how much time does it take you?
As I understand it, dailies are more or less supposed come automatically if you play that playstyle. For example the 3 WvW dailies (part of the PvE dailies) come pretty effortlessly if you’re a WvW player — and without needing hours upon hours of play.
If sPvP players generally aren’t getting their dailies in a reasonable amount of time, perhaps they should feel cheated by Anet.
(I’m not an AP hunter… I just find the AP hunter threads really fascinating because their playstyle is so different from mine.)

I never see these complaints coming from those who actually like PvP and play it for its own sake. It’s always a small handful of people who have convinced themselves that they “must” remain “competitive” on the AP leaderboard but don’t actually enjoy going after those APs.

I do my PvP daily before my PvE because it’s quicker. I usually get my daily done in three game, which I’m sure others do to. So probably like 20 to 30 minutes depending on que times.
Heavens Rage
It takes me like 10min to do 5 PVE dailies, you are doing something wrong if PvP dailies are faster for you.
Plus its impossible to win 8 tpvp games without having the daily complete much much earlier, so it doesnt even count as offering additional ways to get the daily done.

Yes, we get the daily. However, we don’t obsess about getting every last achievement point possible in the daily. Simply obtaining the daily reward takes 3 matches on average.
