Ok to start out I think i heard somewhere that Arenanet is working on a dueling system and I’m all for that but i would like to add a few suggestions that hopefully people agree with and Arenanet might implement if they truly are working on a dueling system I can always hope.

1: Ability to auto decline duel requests.
2: Ability to form groups and duel other groups.
3: Upon accepting duel request you (your group) and the challenger(s) get sent to an instanced arena.
4: upon death armor does not need to be repaired.
5: Scale players by either increasing or decreasing level

that’s all i could think of hopefully the community will want dueling if things like this were part of it.

well i think gw2 is not really balanced for 1 vs 1 dueling battles though.

if this is implemented then we would be seeing more rage / whine posts about “imba” 1 vs 1 duels etc yes?

wouldn’t that create more problems?

as of now, the only method to “duel” with a friend is to join an empty server in sPvP.

yea it is. look at all the videos on youtube of 1v1’s. its actually pretty dynamic.

I’m in favor of dueling. Especially with the whole auto-decline feature. Would love to see how I would fare against my friends without interference!
