People complained that flamekiss armor is too similar to T3.
And most of them complained because its a racial armor.

Wouldn t it be a better solution to make a new T3 for humans and offering the new skin to old T3 owners?

The best scenario would be offering free of charge a skinset to T3 owners….and putting the T3 for sale at racial NPC.

So old T3 owners can:

1) reskin their T3
2) keep their old T3 and keep the new for another armorset as compensation
3) humans have again a racial armor

Anet on their side
-have just a single racial armor to design for just 1 race.
-can put flamekiss back on TP
-everyone is happy….
- NO need of any refund for anyone…..

Totally agree/ it’s better than removing the great armor from the game.

I suggest in my turn to make Flamefissed like an elite with wolves – a game uprgade so that you need to spend exactly real money for that. If you wish – you grind to have in-game T3/ I you wish -you buy it with bucks. And then there will be no issue that the fiery one is cheaper and looking better.

There are some people that prefer the original t3 to the flamekissed and they would no longer be able to obtain it. It is also worth to note that Anet would have to come up with an extremely good concept for armor in order to compensate humans because it has the current one to live up to.

However I do agree that the flamekissed armor shouldn’t be scrapped, just make it an upgrade to human cultural via the mystic forge and make upgrades for the rest of the t3 cultural armors too.

I know….and they are not entitled to it….
They can also buy flamekissed
And they matters less than the 2 offended sides in this incident..

Its like when you see a thing you want to buy….but its no more in stock…

Other 2 sides instead got something they HAVE taken away that is FAR worse….

Another solution to this problem would be to add a new merchant into the game that sells cross fraction cultural armor that has been upgraded like the light flamekiss armor.
Make the pieces cost more than the T3 stuff (to satisfy the people that complained about their hard work to farm the gold needed for T3)
Those of us that like the fire look of this armor can still get it on our toons (I and many other think it looks the best on Sylvari)
And in the future more upgraded cultural armor could be added (making people that want ones from other races able to get them)

So you are suggesting I would either get to keep my cultural set I’ve spent a lot of time working towards when there was still no champion farming and getting gold was significantly more difficult, while I’d see cheap ripoffs running everywhere around me, or exchange it for a new skin, that would very likely be nowhere near the aesthetic beauty and uniqueness of the original T3? That sounds like a bad deal to me.

Not to mention if I knew I could get the armor on another race I wouldn’t have made a human in the first place? Where is the justice in that?

No actually i m suggesting you get 2…

You keep your old discontinued EXCLUSIVE T3…..and you get a new HUMAN RACIAL skinset to apply to whatever you want.
