ok, i know the situation. The Queen’s Gauntlet Entrance Tickets used to be account bound. Then, a select few abused this by deleting and remaking toons over and over again to get 5 free tickets mailed to them so that they had thousands of free tickets. Then the game was patched to make all tickets soubound.

My suggestion…. Make another patch reverting any newly obtained ticket back to account bound, whether bought from vendor or from a mob drop. Also, make a NEW “Queen’s Gauntlet Entrance Ticket” that will be soulbound on aquire and THAT’S the tickets that get mailed to everyone.

That way, people can use whatever character they like to farm tickets on that will be account bound, and people can’t abuse the “delete/remake toon for 5 free ticket” thing. I’m not a game coder, but making a new ticket probably doesn’t take too long. I don’t know if the gauntlet is just here for another week or for they whole month, but either way, everyone would like this idea.

I absolutely agree. Also, another way to do this is to only give players a certain amount of tickets per account, not per character. Let’s say the first character you log in as gets 20 tickets, no other char gets any, but they’re account bound.

i say just discontinue the free tickets. Everyone is farming the CP anyway and you already need to kill 100 mobs in each of the 6 areas there. Plus, you usually get 2 tickets from each boss (one from the boss and then one from the boss chest). Just discontinue the mails with 5 free tickets and revert any new ticket drops as account bound.
