At first i have a question:
Am I imagining or before all these changes if one player would not complete his daily, his uncompleted daily would continue for the next day without resetting?

Well if not i would like too see Anet considering this, dailies are changing every day, I guess I am a special case, yesterday i was not able to complete the daily because of time lacking in real life, working in night shifts, left 3 events to do plus 2/3 gathers. I would like very much to lose a few min of today to complete that previous daily and then start completing the new one.

You must’ve imagined that. They always reset every day, I don’t know what time though. You don’t miss out on much with one day anyway, 1 laurel and 1 mystic coin are the main bits. Only 5 dailys look to be needed for the monthly.

You are not a special case real life is more important, you don’t NEED to play every day (I was only few dodges off finishing but didn’t have time, that’s life).

Ok, then i would very much like Anet to consider my idea and think about those that may not be able to do the dailies every single day

well it is called a daily for a reason, it is not a 2daily or 3daily but A DAILY

the point here is about what you get after completing the dailies, which before 28 Jan would not affect much a casual player, but now that casual player need to try to play as much as he can and even then what if he cant complete the daily? this will ruin most that don’t do dailies every day or lack the time to complete them, instead of 20dailies and 1monthly (in 20 days), these players will only get the new gear in 2/3 months

the only “new” gear from laurel so far the ascended amulets, whihc only provide sure a nice but small stat boost but not that much that it is crucial, the rings could already be gotten from fractals before, anything esle is only convenience items.
Also the daily dont really take more than an hour or 2 if you know where to go for them.
and really 2-3 months is nothing compared to what endgame gear would take in other MMO’s there you usually talk 6months+ at least and that might even be for the hardcore grinders sometimes

Im with GummiBear on this, I dont think it will affect me, a very casual player. 2 months tops for my 1st ascended amulet, another 4 months tops for 2 rings aswell if i decide to go for it.

I estimate i will manage 2-3 dailys a week less once I have my amulet, unless leveling an alt. It doesnt matter how long it takes to get the gear, the games not going anywhere, just take it easy and enjoy what time you do have to play.
