Living Story: Revitalization of Orr
its funny. last friday I was thinking how sick it would be to see Orr before it was drowned. +1
I would love it. There are so many things in game that the Living Story should rebuild! Not only Orr, but also Ascalon.
I must say that after completing Trahearne’s Wyld Hunt, I thought I would see some changes to Orr. I mean, I thought that the land would show some signs of healing for me (and for the other players that completed the quest).
Also, there must be a way to rebuild Ascalon. The situation of the ascalonians is horrible right now. They have no voice in the ministry, their settlements are constantly attacked by centaurs and the Flame Legion and the dragon’s corruption are knocking on Ebonhawke’s door.
I would love to see the Owl Lodge being rebuilt, too. The Owl might be dead, but her teachings still live on. Also, it would be good for closure, since the norns still mourn Owl’s death.
That would make me so happy!

I think it would be difficult to have a living story that changes Orr so much that it is brought back to it’s pre-Zhaitan state. However, I wouldn’t mind a fractal involving Orr before it is sunk.

there’s another thread, i can’t remember but the gist of it, which was essentially — give us dynamic events that allow us to cleanse orr. even if it maintains the ruins, give us the ability to make it “pretty” and potentially hold it that way. i love the idea that is orr-that-was, and i hope someday there’ll be a fractal that lets us explore it — but for now? i absolutely despise time spent there, as it’s depressing and annoying, to say the least. so … hearty agreement, with a plug for someone else’s idea that i thought was also quite brilliant.
