I don’t need to explain why Rangers are royally screwed at the moment, there’s plenty of rage already on the forums.
The problem i am addressing here is that Anet nerfed pet damage (which most agree accounts for around 30% of our total damage output) to hell. After doing this they didn’t bother to buff the damage of the Ranger itself to compensate.
Simple solution: power signet. Passive effect of, say, +150 power at level 80 would at least help a bit. Zerker rangers have NEVER been viable but adding this may open that build up a little. Anet said themselves they intended to open up the viability of more builds with the latest patch but they have done the opposite for the Ranger.
Open to suggestions on the active effect.
