Morter at the moment isn’t all that great for anything outside of giving someone a ranged option when they don’t have a ranged weapon with them… The lack of mobility make it nearly useless though. Elixir X isn’t really reliable as a whole so that could be a good replaced elite.

My suggestion would be to replace the Morter with a Grenade launcher kit.

Grenade launcher kit
same cooldown as every other kit all attacks have a 1200 range

3/4 second cast
120 aoe range

Fires a powerful explosive at the target for moderate damage.

No.2 Shrapnel shot
15 second cooldown
1/2 second cast
260 aoe
Fires a Shrapnel shot that does moderate damage and sends out shrapnel causing 3 stacks of bleeding and cripple 10 seconds each.

no.3 Armor puncher
1 second cast
20 second cooldown
Combo finisher projectile 25%
Fires a single giant metal round at the target that does high damage and causes 5 stacks of vulnerability for 10 seconds

No.4 Sponge round if you think I made up that name look up 40mm grenade types

Fires a giant rubber shot that dazes target for 2 seconds

Fires a gas canister to target location causing no damage but inflicting poison for 5 seconds and blindness for 10 seconds.

Traits to give effects to grenade launcher
All traits that work for the grenade kit would work for the grenade launcher kit… Grenadier would only grant grenade launcher the 25% range though no the bonus grenade.

The kit would function like any other kit but the attacks would be auto targeted with a high projectile speed for good accuracy… The only ground targeted ability would be the gas round.

Because it’s a elite there’s no toolbelt skill but the kit would be as strong as the rifle in power to make up for it.

I’ll edit the post if I can think of any other ways to make the kit better without being op.
