Way more guild options and rights
everything we need indeed ++
There were still some things I forgot yesterday.
The guild-message (message of the day) should stay like it is but change name to (guild-message) and a second guild-message (I would name that the guild-message of the day) should be added.
This guild message of the day should get more attention. So for example, if members log in or when the message gets updated they see the message in the chat.
This because guilds usually have at least one more long term message (site information and so on) and one more temporary message about guild-events and so on.
Besides that it should be easier to update a message, now you have to retype, you can’t just edit it and the long term message could also be much longer and have some more mark up possibilities.
It would be great if the guild-message of the day could have a date/time option you can fill (not required) when the message will automatically be deleted.
Also we really need a guild calendar!
@BioHazard
Sorry for not adding it there. I did use the search option and that did give me a lot of results but I did not see any useful results. It would be nice if all these posts could be merged.

Nice post.
i didnt like this myself:
if you store money in the guildbank now.. everyone with acces to that specific tab can also take the money. i dont like that.
“Also it would be nice to have an option to automatically let people get to one (or more) higher ranks when they reach a certain time of representing, or influence. Of course that should be variable for the guild-leaders to choose.”
I really really like this idea.. i hope it will come ingame.
and yeh mostly agree with your ideas.
cheers
Ps i also made a post a while ago with some ideas/suggestions.

My big ones are the MotD in chat when you login or it gets changed and being able to see last time a guildie logged in and represented.
Yeah there are many many changes that need to be done to the guild system, but if nothing else gets done I at least hope they polish up the message fo the day like some of you mentioned so that we can have a long-term message and an actual daily (or frequent) one. And also the last logged in time. I don’t ever like kicking anyone, but if someone hasn’t been on but once in the last 2 months I’d like to know cause they need to go, but I also don’t want to kick someone who might just login at odd hours. I try my best to keep track of everyone but I can’t be there 24/7 and I don’t want to shortchange anyone because of a lack of options for the guild system. There are many more issues I’d like to cover with the banks, ect but for now these 2 points, imo anyway, are the most important because they affect the actual function of the guild.
~Surrender fiend and you will get an easy death
~I could promise you the same…but it would be a lie…
I agree that some have a higher priority then others but I think all the suggestions I did see in this and 2 other threat’s are very useful and it should not even be that much of work, if you compare it to some other issue’s, but it helps guilds out a lot.
On another topic somebody suggested to be able to send a mail to all guild-members ordered by ranks and groups. I also like that, especially when it would also be possible to have more options to select by, for example all members who have not been online since x.
In addition to this it would also be nice if members could explicit (to prevent abuse) give the right to mail to there real mail. The guild-leaders don’t then have to see the mail-address but it would be nice to reach members outside GW2. (for example to ask if they have stopped playing or are just busy irl but will come back.. If they are offline for a longer period the ingame mail is useless)
Just waned to add that I moved all suggestions here to the topic from BioHazard.2147
I also made a list there of all suggestions that I could find.
You can find it here: https://forum-en.gw2archive.eu/forum/game/suggestions/Guild-System-Improvements/page/4#post1629906
It is easy to only have to keep track of one topic.
