As with the halloween ones I am going after everything missable with wintersday as well, would appreciate if anyone could let me know what achievements are possible to get right now, thanks

Two PvP achievements, Two Bells achievements, Jumping Puzzle Achievement, and Snowmen achievement.

The others you have to wait till the events start. Then it will be one achievement per day (for each city), and then the final achievements when he reaches LA (the dungeon achievement and the toypocalypse).

Hey Anthony thanks for the heads up. Looks like we don’t even need all the achievements for the title? Please clarify.

Cause the Snowballthingy achievements are just horrible in my opinion. But that’s just my taste. ^^

That’s a really good attitude. Thanks for that one. Some don’t like JPs. I don’t like that snowball brawl. Nice Event. Looking forward to ten years of Guild Wars 2.

You only need 12 achievements to get the title. You can pick from any of the 14 new achievements in the special event category and the two monthly achievements. We did this so that if there’s a particular type of content that you’re just really not interested in, you can probably skip that one thing and still get the title.

Agreed cause i really don’t care for the PvP achievement, so now i am happy again about the event

Wait… so people who only PvE this time can get the title this time, either due to hardware issues or personal handicaps? Nice one.

I believe right now there’s 10 attainable achievements.

I got 9/12 so far.

The remaining one, the one about defeating malfunctioning toys, I will probably leave for later.
Why hurry now when there will be probably lots of them to kill later?

I’m guessing that 50-wave Toypocalypse thing will be quite hard, so I’ll leave if for last, to do with the experienced guys in my guild.

The hardest ones were the snowball fight ones.
I had to be a jerk that would rather help himself with the gift than help a team member (as everyone else was), otherwise I wouldn’t ever get them.
But hey, if they put an achievement that cannot to be acquired unless you are unsporting, it has to be because they want us to be unsporting, hasn’t it?
Once I got 5/5 in both achievements after 50 battles against my own team members, I was able to switch to Heavy gunner and have some fun, and even left gifts near the ground right next to the drop point when there was no enemies anywhere near so others could drop them, you know, to balance out karma.

The easiest one — and also the most fun — was the bell choir one.
They should definitely have more things like this one in the game.
Imagine a skill challenge or a dungeon event with something using these mechanics.

I must say that imagina- I mean, Infinirarium is a really nice area.
It’ll be great if the area was left as some sort of ‘activity hub’ linking to all year-long activities (like keg brawl) in one place by placing NPCs in the corresponding area (e.g.: a Keg Master near the norn stead diorama), and the bell choir or something similar (like using the organs instead bells) was left permanently available.
You know, like the Heart of the Mists with PvP, but for Activities.

Thank you for that. I love the snowball fight, but the Stopper ’chievement is proving to be very, very tedious.

Also note that the monthly is doable within one day. The mystic packages even spawn some of those toys you need to kill, so you don’t have to “farm” them in the dungeon =)
