You actually got a ton of people on during our server downtime when most of our population isn’t on…I think that’s what happened. You’re winning because you people on all the time, and we well…don’t. That’s it in a nutshell I think. I’d love to have some clarification from somebody on during that time.

I feel like [EsF] [KH] [LaZY] [NAGA] [VaL] [MDMW] just haven’t been out in the numbers they have been previously. These are all guilds that used to give us trouble out there! I don’t know why this is. Overall militia participation on CD has dropped though for sure, I think their morale is probably down a bit unfortunately.

We know KH is gone, last night in in CDBL Lex told us VaL has five members… or was it four? Safe to say at this point, at least outside NA primetime, that there is no organized WvW presence on CD at all.

As someone who watched CDBL go from fully upgraded to burned-to-the-ground last night, here’s the rub:

When the kitten hit the fan we had no more than 12 active players on the whole map, in the space of half an hour there were three FA zergs numbering approx 70-80 players total – all guild groups, attacking both northern towers and hills/garrison simultaneously.

There was nothing much to be done about it, it was a PvDoor extravaganza – when DB showed up with ~50 guys and started capping FA melted away without a trace, we had gotten about 20-25 guys at this point, and the fiasco resumed but with DB riding the karma train around the map for a while.

Just want to point out that it ain’t anything new – IOJ was doing the same thing to us three weeks ago, population is not particularly lower than it was then, if they wanna gather by the hundred and beat up defenseless doors all night that’s their prerogative.

No fault of any of the CD players, the two-dozen odd who were logged across all maps when FA decided to have it’s giant circle-jerk. Life goes on, plenty of karma there to be had capping all that stuff back.

p.s. uA, your PvP is hella weak, after ~25 of your guys being repeatedly run-off and routed by 6-8 puggers you need some remedial work. When we lost Garrison we all looked at the map and were like “they still haven’t taken Sunny?”.

Are you in NA night crew or Oceanic time frame? KH is a NA nightcrew guild. The 10-15 KH people you see during the day is not our main contingency. They are the yak team and roaming day squads. KH fielded its very largest raid ever this past week. We had 40 tentacles of the squid in FA BL holding both south towers and the camps for around 4 hours. Wiping 20 swarms of FA who came in packs of 10-30 people every two/three minutes, lol

I only took video for about an hour of it, and my video involves a lot of walking yaks and shows how bad I am at playing this game (I am sure my guild leader will be yelling at me should he see it) but it also shows just how difficult it was to accomplish anything on Sunday night. If we left the southwest camp to take the south camp, we had to rush back immediately after capping in order to save the southwest camp from the FA zerg or push rams off our tower gate, hahaha.

It was such a challenge, and so much fun. I’ll get the video up at some point (and probably cut it to just the battles, because walking yaks will bore people to death and an hour long video is just too massive lol).

Remeber that time KH threatened to kick us out of the tier? Almost wish they had. Such an influx of gypsies.

Sounds like a plan, we got the musicc (vandarra to play the same track for 5 hours) we just needs decide where.. we should totally have a garrison open night, no walls, no doors, just everyone inside having duels to downed state and guild banquets and stuff.

I’m disappointed that later assault on Bay was not as organised as the weekends’. Sure, it was the same trebbing from camp tactic, but you folks retreated back to the tower instead of defending camp, with 3-4 running around inside while the treb was destroyed unopposed (excluding the treb user himself). Hey FA, you guys need to talk to Obey, FDIC, and Pro about killing people just doing the JP. I get past the dark room and the arena thanks to DB being kind enough to leave me alone (love you DB) so I can get through, only to get killed by those guilds even after doing the standard /bow command (Note to those guilds, this means the player isn’t going to attack).

I log on, and there’s 10-12 of us vs 2 massive forces of 30-50 (hard to tell with summons/illusions and pets) and I can see a number of people thinking it’s pointless.

So off I go pve. I prefer WvW when the 3 servers have scores between 200-300. Even playing against TC, I don’t remember round the clock coverage this strong. We at least had a fighting chance during Asian primetime.

Will sit it out until FA goes to tier 2/1 where they belong for their size now.

I’ve noticed that our Asian/Oceanic WvW presence has dwindled down, to the point where the NA presence seems stronger. I suspect a combination of factors:

- Some have gotten bored with the game and would only come on when there are special events.
- School has started.
- Chinese New Year is around the corner. There’s lots of preparation to be done, spring cleaning what-not.
- Ungrateful pugs who insult commanders, but don’t bother to spring for upgrades/ siege.

Ryu, it’s a PvP zone. If it’s red, people will kill it.

Just the other day, our number of our CD players let 1 FA mesmer past. The FA kicked off our portal mesmer from his perch after getting to the top. That’s what you get for being kind.

I only encounter this problem from FA. Never from DB. I could say it’s telling of how the server actually is, especially since I’m seeing over 30 FA in the JP camping it, and maybe 15 DB. And when all 15 DB let me pass, but all 30 FA try to kill me, yeah…

For the most part, if I’m just waltzing through the JP, I’ll let people go without attacking them.
But if I get killed a single time while I’m on my way through, I usually make a point to group up and stick around for a while to get my spite on.

I haven’t seen CD causing any trouble this week. Typically for me bow or not I ignore other servers and let them do their thing unless they start something with me. There was a group of about 7 DB ones yesterday camping various parts and killing FA players. As a result pretty much everyone from DB in the jp got killed with the exception of ASIA who were playing nice. Personally I feel the jps should be off limits unless you’re being a jerk. The DB in question were waiting at the end of the 2nd dark room attacking and knocking people off until we finally killed them after awhile.

The /bow command is often used as acceptance or challenge for a duel too, it is also used to show respect to someone you just had a duel with.

But the bottom line is it is a PvP area, and PvP will happen no matter what and anybody wanting to do ANY WvW jump puzzle really needs to accept that.
Personally if I’m going through a jump puzzle being a mesmer I will generally temporal curtain pull an enemy off where they are jumping and then go on my way, their reaction to me doing this gauges if I kill them or leave them.. if they are aggressive over it and attack me its time to kill, if they just go back to start again or watch me I leave them. Yeah this sounds mean but I find it works well to keep a balance of PvP and civil acts in a jump puzzle.

I was doing it on my level 6 thief (yes, you read correctly, level 6), just because I could really. Plus I wanted to see what kind of loot a level 6 could get out of that chest. As it turns out, not much. XD

I’m Australian. KH is probably the largest force I’ve seen from CD when I play during the evening.. still, seemed like you guys had a lot more numbers when you were dominating the tier. Maybe you’re just more spread out than previous encounters due to FA actually having an Oceanic force now or maybe you just seem smaller now that I actually have some backup during my “prime time”. /shrug

Yeah, you just won’t see their account name anymore after they patched it in a weak attempt to stop cross-server communication. The report system is still functional (and there still isn’t an option for “Exploiting/Hacking”)

I agree, however that is not the case from my own personal experience in few clear cut and dry reports I’ve filed. Also, I’m quite amused that dickhead isn’t censored.

I don’t think you need fraps, it’s more about showing the “before and after”- you have to show them before they got in, while they were getting in, and after they got in.

Fraps is just an easy way to view the evidence and be able to determine what happened without a doubt. It’s more about just having enough frames (or screenshots) to be able to draw definitive conclusions.

Our guild leaders have to send some of our commanders to southcove for a holiday and let them vent their frustrations on karkas.

KoME fielded ard 30 warriors at eb last night. We are fighting with an outmanned buff all the time. Nearly managed to ninja smc thanks to Titan but some over enthusiastic pugs went ahead and chop up the sentries creating a big orange x on our heads.

Good times. Reminds me of the times we were against TC. Build character.

I have to agree, it’s really difficult to tell from a single screenshot if there was a glitch or not.

P.S. I have yet to be in a WvW jump point, EB or otherwise, where there wasn’t someone there trying to kill me. My bad luck I guess.

Like I said, Sunday was the largest KH group we’ve ever fielded. About 40 people. We’ve never had more than that, and for the last three/four weeks we’ve fielded 25-30 people on regular raid nights. We run as a group a few times a week, and the rest of the time we roam in five mans or teams of 10.
