We we’re about to take SM and the new build came and kicked us out to LA. lol. Oh well it was still fun

Yeah felt for Darkhaven – [Asg] had been prowling the maps looking for a scrap and found one in their northern most supply camp. They were just pushing us back with roughly even numbers and some siege defense when it got dropped.

So bored this week. There’s really not much to do, especially with a small group.

If I remember right didn’t Crystal Desert beat Darkhaven pretty soundly not so long ago? I mention it because it appears they will be in DH’s next matchup along with Maguuma.

We have had some great fights with Maguuma. But since Crystal Desert is dropping down a tier, they are a big threat to Maguuma and DH for the win. No need for an alliance…but I suggest Darkhaven and Maguuma agree to focus on Crystal Desert most of the time when possible.

If anyone knows Maguuma friends, and it is something DH wants to do, time to discuss it before reset. Just don’t want to get steamrolled like we did by FA again this coming week.

2 weeks ago we were matched with CD. Their best tactic against us was massive zergs as well.

DH and Maguuma are on good terms, and I think this is going to be necessary for us to have a matchup that isn’t a blowout. I’m open to discussing this with any DarkHaven commanders to ensure that we can keep some equal footing while outnumbered. Maybe not…but I think we mostly respect each other. I for one am thankful for our last couple of matches. No side greatly outnumbered the other and I think DH learned some things from Maguuma. Just wish DH would learn some things about defense from Maguuma. I am on DH…but Maguuma is much better at defense than us IMO.

Question is…do we fight each other while we get steamrolled by CD like FA did to us this week? Or do we leave each other alone mostly and focus on keeping CD’s forces divided trying to fight on two fronts on every borderland?

Which choice seems smarter to you? Holding onto some personal grudge against Maguuma? Or beating CD? Or at least keeping CD from scoring 400K?

We still will fiercely battle each other but we defininetly have rapport with each other.

Well, this weeks match is almost done! Although it was a blow out and not that much fun for either side, good job and great fight to all server. I had some ver fun and long stand offs against FA, keep up the good work! Hopefully you guys make it into the teir 1-2 brackets, you guys played well and much respect for your server and the big top guilds in there.

HoD the few times I toke GoF to your borderlands and tried to take your NW towers you guys fought back and gave it your all and are still even towards the end giving it your all, very well played. I believe eventually your server will again be seen up in the high teir brackets, never give up. I wish you the best of luck.

To my wonderful darkhaven brothers, it has been an honor and a privileg to work with you and lead some of you into battle, some good times were most deffinetly had. Big shout out to WE, RE, HVN, SE, ABC, Zeit, and any other guilds and or persons that fought for darkhaven and never gave up no matter what odds faced them! I have alot of faith in our server and with every wvw match we learn and get better.

Just to clarify we switched to EB 3 or 4 times last night. Would push red off the map and move back to HOD. Your server defended garrison for what seemed like all day. Now don’t you think starting off your post with how well you held us back would have been more positive?

I for one didn’t mind yesterday. It’s clear then that if you don’t bring the fight too us we will bring it too you.

I don’t know what you read from my post, but I don’t think you understood what I was talking about. First of all, i was talking in terms of one map. I don’t care where the HoD BL zerg zoned to and from and how often. I’m also not trying to push up morale either, so the “you should have started by saying how much you owned us” thing is irrelevant. The point made was that, in a given map. BOTH of the other servers did more attacking of us, than of eachother. In the EB map, when there was a lot of red. If you weren’t there, I don’t care. Those “30+ people” I mentioned weren’t the ones over in the BL, I’m talking about the 30+ people that were, instead of helping to beat back red, were busy camping us at our spawn while red owned the map. In the BL, I was speaking in terms entirely of the BL in which DH was wandering around capping stuff, but never was it YOUR stuff they were capping, it was always our stuff… on the complete other side of the map. THAT is why it is suspicious.

As for your question about guilds. I honestly don’t know; We don’t have much of an organized force right now and thats not even the point and its completely irrelevant to my complaint. Whether we have strong guilds or not isn’t relevant to the fact that you were both (DH/FA) spending a suspiciously large portion of your attention at our objectives when there were much bigger threats from each-other to be worrying about.

It’s because we formed an alliance to double-team you. I thought were cleared that up earlier. I’m working with commanders on EH and DB to make sure it’s continued after reset. This threat must not go unnoticed.

DH just cap what we can, in the lulls ~ between random and very periodic strikes. Nothing more, nothing less … don’t think we pick on you in your BL.

It may be because our BL is covered with FA and we need a change. Your BL isn’t much better though tbh.

What royally sucks this week, is I’ve been trying to level alts (what a bad choice to begin with- I know), and get some seige prints in the BL’s … but it’s so very not worth entering WvW. Every time I ‘check’ or poke my head into the jump puzzle, all I see are FA guys running around chasing whatever they can find, like horny little teenagers at a party.

No sir, I do not wish to pay a repair bill (or 100 when I only will make a couple silver tops in wvw) this week (you bad men go away and do not touch me!). So saddened that I have to pve to level him (ewww). FA does try to comfort me with many group hugs (thanks for the welcoming party), but they hug me so hard my guy cannot breath and decides to lay there… lifeless (crushed by love of bad men?), my lowly little 23’s or 40’s …

:) … huzzah it is friday … next time i see FA on our board, will be much of the same (skip wvw entirely until our server has some 24 hour presence). Noticably a huge mismatch with the exception of a few rare small even battles.

Less than 30 minutes left of this match. Looks like this match is the biggest blowout since the orbs were removed. The bottom tier match for the EU servers last week takes a close second.

There were some fun moments still. Thanks for all the DH and HoD players who came out to play despite the odds. Hopefully all servers will have better matches. FA probably will since we’re up against TC and Yaks. CD will probably be a big winner but Mag and DH should be close. HoD may still need a couple of weeks, but good luck against EBay and DB.

Btw, this is one of the few match threads that survived since reset that did not get a warning from the moderators or got closed.

Finally, I just hope HoD doesn’t fight darkhaven again. Why on earth would you guys take OUR supply camps when green has the rest of them on every map including your own?

Don’t kid yourself, we take green’s as well. They just take it right back ;-(
