Had a lot of fun facing off against AM on Gandara borderlands this morning, we both had small teams but the AM we encountered were a slippery bunch, holding a tower and forcing us to defend our keeps. Finally managed to drive them off redlake after a couple hours and one rather prolonged fight (that we lost) against the tower lord. AR showed up briefly but we drove them off and they went in search of greener pastures.

Noted one AR alt-f4ing, a ganking thief in a guild called extreme diablos or something to that effect. Most played fair

I also never seen someone of the PRO guild, but yesterday I led a small zerg on Gandara BG, [Army] was also there. Suprisingly we get the bay, but no one of the both zerg was there. In chat I asked who takes the bay, but no one answered.

I think someone could hack the bay, but it was nobody of the active comunity.

Yeah that was more than likely [PRO], we lost it shortly after they teleported into garrison.
The inner walls of bay were at 100%, we had a pretty big group out front and there was no crossed swords before it flipped.
The outer wall was down though so its possible a small group ninja’d it, extremely unlikely because we had people passing through but possible.

From what I heard there are two explanations:

-3 separate memsers were hiding for up to 10 hours inside towers and garrison and then used portal to bring in others and capp the keep/tower

-members of the guild called PRO used an exploit to bypass walls.

OMG PRO are at it again. Just wiped them in lords room at hills about 6 of them

That guild are exploiting all the time….a ban is needed the Guild is Mit Gehirn (PRO)

Sounds like they are probably the AM guild that we’re hacking against us on AG last week. Their were 5-6 people in a guild called Dunkle Wachter [DW] using some sort of teleport hack to appear in the lords rooms (seemed to be able to teleport directly to npcs/mobs even whilst we were in combat with them (no mesmers or theifs, was always the ranger that stood out when she tele’d). Caught them multiple times trying to take Cliffside and Sunny to the point where we had to have people guard them all day long. We reported them over and over but nothing was done about it, saw them doing it for like 4 days straight!
Thankfully no other AM players tried to take advantage of [DW]s antics so we managed to hold the majority of their attacks off without much problem.

Can only +1 on the [PRO] guys magicly appearing inside our Garrison without a mesmer. Luckily we have defense on all major keeps. Would be kittenn to see how fast they could cap rest of map if we hadn´t stopped them there.

[PRO]lol visited 3 towers on Gandara borderlands in under 15 minutes capping two of them. Some have it easy when they can just port straight to Lord’s room.

I’ve read on the forums that another option for reporting is to use a support ticket (https://en.support.guildwars2.com/app/ask/). I don’t know if you can still get the account name when you hit report, if you can then it’d be good to have that information handy.

Couldnt attack him or target him and could only just see his name poking up through the ground.

If I understand right the guy was inside the wall? You know how often I got stuck inside a wall, stone etc? Not everything is a hack.. I also bet half of the “cheated inside a keep” is just a Mesmer who waited for over 15min.

No it was a hack because the mesmer had enabled some kind of terrain noclip mode to be able to move through the ground and become immune to all targeting and damage while still able to attack us. Would have been completely undetectable except his name tag stuck out above the ground just a tiny bit.

It seems like you completely missed that part of my post.

Edit for your edit: I really doubt it was a glitch but if it was then he really should have done the right thing and relogged rather than exploit it.

The keeps and towers that I know off thus far ( being yesterday mainly ) have all been in our possession for hours… many many hours.

No one saw any mesmers (it’s a pretty easy class to pick out of a crowd) and they hit several targets in a row, so that would have required them having a different mesmer hidden in each of those targets for many hours. We’ve been really solid about maintaining and monitoring the fortifications on our own borderlands, which is the reason why these hackers haven’t done more damage.

The [PRO] stuff seems legit.. I just wanted to say that not everyone who shouts “hack” is right. This thread lately looks like all hackers united against Gandara…

The problem aren’t the points I think.. you guys are recapping so it doesn’t sum up that much. The upgrades you pay hurt.. and that I’m sorry for.

I think most of Gandara recognise that 99% of your server fight fair and earn every point they get. Previous match ups against you were some of the most fun matches i’ve had. Its just a pity that the 1% is going a long way to ruining what otherwise has been a great match.

Sorry to burst your bubble but I saw with my own eyes and did report it as well a non disclosed servers guild took out a reinforced gate without any siege what so ever in minutes.
But I’ll live with the fact that the matter has been reported to Anet and it’s down to them to deal with it, in what ever manner they seem fit.
There we’re a few other issues that have also been reported also.
Call me a whistle blower if you want all ai want is a good clean fight where skill wins out and not exploits or hacks.
Any way that’s old news and is all down to Anet now.
As for today apart from mega rendering issues as well as other things.

Today I saw lots of strange things in EB as a Gandarian. Hacks, bizzare portal fights(like 30 people staying in same spot, spamming defensive/offensive skills and port here and there like a tanky alien organism :P), neverending trebs, late night superior flame ram zergfest, grand theft golem action.
To me it was totally fun. Learned lots of things. Improved in many ways. Every week I see different tactics and learn how to deal with them.
Yesterday night we did the most organised attack to SM in Gandara history i guess. Some people sacrificed some fun to be able to capture it. It didn’t go flawless but somehow it worked at the end.

I think that’s the best we can do. Report hackers & cheaters wherever we spot them, fighting a good and clean fight with the others and having as much fun as possible.

For my part, I hope I will able to pity the other server instead of blaming them, when I become the victim of hackers next time. It’s the same everywhere: A vast majority wants a fair battle, but there are always some kitten that thinks he’s smarter than us. Hope they’ll burn in digital hell soon and have their PCs infected with tons of worms, keyloggers and trojans.

Yesterday evening a saw a [PRO] for the first time. But he vanished before I was able to ask him about his Guild.
Please guys, continue on reporting cheaters. Abaddon does not want them and does not need them.

Anyway, this is a great week and we have a lot of fun. Epic fights on AR BL yesterday evening.

I imagine the reason why you guys do not know this ‘PRO’ Guild (an oxymoron if there ever was one!) is because they move around servers and change guild name even within servers they are on to stay under the radar.. As they are clearly hackers they do not exactly need Guild bonuses do they?

The issue that Eno was referring to a few posts up was actually just us not being able to see the 3 rams u guys had tucked up close to the outer gate at Hills the first time you attacked and as our Cata had despawned at the gate, by the time the gate went down the rams had been destroyed but it looked like you had magically done it without siege.

As Startfall stated above, its not the points issue caused by the hackers so much as the upgrade cash that is wasted and of course the torturous process of upgrading the fort/keep again knowing that it could be hacked.

It is a shame but other than everybody try their hardest to report these guys whenever we see them not a lot we can do about it. Would be good if some of the german lads could actually get the Account identity of any PRO players they see and post them on the forum or send those details by PM to some AR and GAND players so we can do a mass e-mail report

What would be better is if Anet added a “Possible Exploit” option on the report tabs, this would give a time and date report of the player/s in question for Anet to pinpoint and evaluate that player/s data at that time.
Not saying they should look into every single report as they would inundated with reports but they could have a non disclosed number that should a player/s reach that amount then they investigated.

Poor AM getting a bad rap cause of a small group of people who probably aren’t even doing it for the points but more the silver and karma. The unfortunate side effect is that it demoralises the team its happening to and shifts their focus but it also gives the server in question a bad rap

I’ve thankfully not been around to see it but I’ll be back in the fight tonight!

Theres always bad apples anywhere, what counts its the good ones, and i think everyone thinks the same, PRO guild isnt a whole server, and i bet they dont feel good about those bad apples in their server.

Such cheaters only hurt their server in a long run – on the day of when they pulled this first time AM borderland had queue because people wanted to “punish the cheaters” and focused on them instead of AR.

Again [pro] inside fully upgraded Greenlake tower in the lords room, we manage to save it, 2 minutes later same individuals are inside Askalion Hills lords room. It also get’s interrupted. Another minute later same thing again inside Greenlake tower and this time Greenlake gets capped. All fully upgraded.

7.40pm GMT Hills Keep in Gandara Borderland Hacked by the AM Guild PRO. I was in the Keep at the time Building a trebuchet.. The keep was never aggroed it went straight from Green to Red without being attacked as I lay dead from being attacked by guards .. members of PRO AM guild ran over my body I managed to report 2 of them.

Hills was Full T3 upgraded Keep with all guild buffs running not been penetrated to inner in over 2 days

Seriously this stinks that theres no response from Anet about this, AM guilds should start demanding some action from them. This is seriously tarnishing your reputation.

Not to mention the amount of gold, time and effort we are wasting upgrading stuff.

This thing with [PRO] guild is robbing me and all other fair players from a good fight over a tier3 upgraded Keep. Now we can have a fight over a not upgraded keep yawn. I really hope Anet can find and fix this glitch soon.

This program they are using not only has applications in WvW it has the potential to completely crash the economy if enough people use it. I’ve seen it being used a few times on PVE maps by people gathering

Anyone with information on this, please PM it to me (account names from report window, if any others were involved apart from [PRO], how many there were) so that I can send in a support ticket.

No one is flaming we’re saying that this guild is tarnishing YOUR server and that you guys should also be reporting the bejesus out of them to get them removed from the game, unfortunately reporting them doesn’t have the function of hacking/exploiting sooooo they’re reported as Bots which means they’re prolly on a long list of stuff.

At one point whilst pulling PRO off the wall before the AM zerg [ETA] came along to protect the newly acquired tower, a cube of some sort appeared above one guys head we weren’t sure if it was a firework or if it was something nefarious. Anyway we’ve established that [PRO] are cheating and hopefully we’ll get video evidence soonish

I’d suggest posting any screenshots to Exploits@Arena.Net with a description.

Is AM now protecting fortifications acquired by [PRO]? Even if you’ve never really seen them (which now sounds hard to believe), your server should be able to recognize when a tower is legitimately and illegitimately capped. Especially one that is T3.

Its not so much flaming about your server mate, the problem is that whilst these blatant hackers are on your server it makes WvW completely meaningless for the all 3 servers in the matchup. The 2 servers playing you have to just sit in our Lords rooms playing ‘I spy’ waiting for the hackers rather than defending the walls. Most of the decent players on your server that are aware of what is happening are going to feel cheapened and dirty by what is happening and not inclined to come to WvW.

No one said any of the sort. One person asked whether that was the case and that was about it. We’re not directing this at AM as a whole, in fact we were looking forward to fighting you guys yet again. Countless times people have said that we don’t blame your server as a whole.

On the spying subject. It happens no one can deny it. Secondly I didn’t state that he was 100% for sure to be that, what I can be 100% sure of though is that there WAS two at least members of one of AM’s (largest?) guilds. Hell he could just be map completing or scoping out a new server to join, fair enough. But we have to suspect ‘spying’ when we see an enemy servers members on the map.
