When ive been playing most players I have seen in a group from anyside is about 10, has made for very fun fights, I will say I dont play in prime time or on eternal.

I do have to say as a YB player, this week has been a nice change of pace from the staleness of the last few weeks with TC and FA. Last week we had EB full once, maybe twice during prime time…this week EB and YBBL have been full every night for a few hours.

This seems to be a fair matchup that anyone could win. Although, I do have to say, the magumma commander who wiped his group three times trying to portal bomb a non-upgraded Durios needs to be demoted.

This week has been surprisingly fun. T3 was fun for a while, and I dont mind fighting FA, but TC outnumbered both of us bad…and the sad thing is TC even has the numbers compared to YB and FA to decided who finishes 2nd and who finishes last.

So it is lovely to be back against servers with similar populations. And I dont remember fighting MG or EB before, but I’m surprised, you guys are actually good. I’ve had a lot of fun hunting yaks though I hope we’ll fight you next week as well, it’s really not fun fighting TC anymore.

I have been running with Yaks the last week and a bit. I took a vacation to get away from the mindless CD zerg. This week I was curious to see what Ebay looked like from the other side. Ebay is actually very impressive.. small numbers of good guild groups working together. I already have a bone to pick with some ShadowMoon thieves
Mag is the same as always.. buncha stubborn cusses that don’t know when to quit.

To the ShadowMoon Guild,
If you lose a 2v5 and are angry you shouldn’t go grab 10 more people and then camp the spawn because you got embarrassed. You are never going to improve that way if you have to grab x8 the numbers of your opponents everytime you get beaten.

As much as we are able to… Yaks bend will have active people in our keeps on the boarderlands with fraps running/ready to start. Don’t mind losing keeps – Hate losing keeps when we are still fighting on the outer walls.

Maguuma…..Gees if your gonna create an assault distraction on a wall….at least for the love of god put the Catapults outside of Clusterbomb and other AoE Range from The wall or have a tonload of suprressive fire on the wall seriously when 3 people can route 20 your doing something seriously wrong.

We have newbies too you know. Give them a break huh?

When our long timers create a distraction you’ll know it when your fully upgraded Garrison in your 100% green borderland turns blue. Like it did yesterday.

You really missed the point of that.

As a Yak’s player, I’m finding this week’s WvW very refreshing. All three servers seem well matched in terms of population, coverage and overall tactical play. Speaking for myself, I’m not really missing the massive zergs of T3.

The random 1v1’s have been much fun, too. Hats off to the great Ebay and Mag players I keep running into.

Those two that exploited DB on YBBL after Yak’s took it over have been reported with screenshots. We have also noticed a lot more exploiting in this tier compared to T3.

Are you talking about the spot that guardians and warriors can leap to for hiding? How is that an exploit?

Phaxy is only seeing one side of every situation. I for 1 have never destroyed any siege that was used against the enemy from another team. That is counter-productive. I have, however, destroyed open field siege that made it easier for one team to defend a push against them. Like in the overlook courtyard area. I had a small zerg chasing me everywhere after that siege-breaker last night.

The population is completely randomized. I feel yaks has the most. And ebay appears to have more at times in the borderlands.

In terms of coverage during oceanic times which I play alot of, yaks bend has a major advantage which is why they are ahead in points.

Earlier this evening, Yaks were trying to take back SH in YBBL after being BLITZED by EB. That was an impressive offensive! We were beginning to wonder if we were going to get pushed off the map…

Anyways, I was one of the commanders leading the assault on SH. I gotta say, that sandwich outside the lords room you guys pulled off that first push was picture perfect. Hats off!

We were only able to push in because we have a really good bunch of mesmers in the Alliance and we got a perfect bomb in the lords room.

Give me more fights like this!!!!

I am genuinely impressed that Ehmry can hold their half of Maguuma, Yak’s Bend, and their share of Eternal and all of their borderlands tonight. Well done.

T3 was a tough battle, but I never once saw a Tarnished Coast player with the skill I have seen in Ehmry Bay players (not to be rude about TC, they are definitely a power house server). I have had a lot of fun battling EB.

Maguuma, your server has improved so much. Many individual players with skill on your server, but the strong leadership on your server and the excellent team work you guys have are outstanding, and I believe if your server had a few more WvW players you would definitely be a strong match for higher tiers.

As far as hacking or exploits, I’m yet to see any of this from either server. Both Ehmry Bay and Maguuma players should be proud of their servers. I’d love to have another round against both servers in the future.

Thank you for the kind words, not sure if I have faced you but there has been some serious skill shown on all sides. I like this battle, Yaks does have a bit of an advantage in off-hours (taking the entire EB map every night) but it’s a lot better than the past two weeks with CD.

Also Bunzy, I’d like to see a screenshot of your supposed “2v5 domination” as I doubt the entirety of that post, but if so, hats off to you but you don’t need to call out an entire guild based off of one engagement.

Unfortunately the exploiting has already taken place. The following event lead to that 3 way fight in SM we had during last sunday.

YBend was defending SM and we were under heavy fire from EB Trebs in Overlook. The northern wall was constantly down but we kept on defending it and Ehmry never managed to get inside. During these periods where the outer wall was down a mesmer from the guild “Player Killerz” http://i.imgur.com/ADgM9.jpg would get pass the outer wall ,which was down, but then he would somehow magically be running on top of our inner wall which was never breached. We chased him all over the keep and managed to kill him each time. This happened like 4+ times. In the mean time we started to damage their trebs so they pulled back.

About half an hour later this same mesmer returned again and was killed. By this time many of our members logged and couldnt watch out for the mesmer anymore. Well while we were defending the keep on the outer wall with everything inside intact, SM all of a sudden got turned! The whole server was like “WT heck just happened?” because no one managed to breach the inner wall. (We were fighting still at the gap of the outer wall) Mad as hell we all gathered and stormed to take the keep back , which was taken by Ehmry by using an exploit to get pass walls. This ended in the huge three way fight since Ehmry knew what was coming and Maguuma saw the chance to also mix in the soup.

The three way fight was epic, yes (which we won btw even with the horrible lag and fighting both servers in the lord’s room) BUT Ehmry should be ashamed of their members for cheating. The mesmer who cheated and the group he portaled in because everyone knew that the inner wall was never breached.

@Maguuma – thx for the awesome challenging fights we had so far /salute.
@Ehmry – Look into this guild because Im sure not everyone on your server would have approved these actions.

I dunno if I’d listen to much of what Bunzy says. This is the person that boasts about how they’re “busting zergs” but then makes a topic and complains about how he/she can’t finish off downed people in said zergs.

I don’t know what happened to Mag tonight. People just did not show up. So little to work with. Bleh. I’m getting burnt out overall. It’s the same thing every game. Not enough players.

This matchup has been really fun so far. I’ve run into more good opponents than I ever have in the past. Lots of really tough fights. Learned about being able to /invite people from other servers too which is cool.

As an aside I’m actually enjoying the amount of hate I’m getting because of my guild tag. I just joined a couple days ago, but apparently it has a lot of history, and the lengths EB people are going through to try to kill me is quite funny. It can be annoying too, but this is the first time since I started playing that I’ve gotten that feeling of bitter rivalries that I loved in DAoC.

Thanks for confirming you just glitched into the keep. If you jump past a wall/gate, you are exploiting. That is the very definition of exploiting. You are bypassing game mechanics via cheating.

So you admit taking a portal into east keep, claiming the Mesmer has been hiding for 10hrs plus. You’ve also stated that you took the keep within 2 mins which is not possible with 4 rams on that reinforced gate.

On a side note I love how you take pride in taking back that wooden keep in your bl with no one inside

I know it is. It’s a known exploit. Anet attempted to fix it before but failed to do it properly. You’re bypassing game mechanics on a specific keep because of terrain, which is cheating. If you can’t figure this out, well, I dunno what to tell ya.

No, we need more numbers to catch you because you run spvp specs in WvW and your guild is constantly running away to reset a fight when you lose.. like i said.. your always-stealthing-always-ride-the-lightning-away is way too amazing for us to handle alone. What would be the point? You still can barely take a supply camp.. meanwhile we are off getting props from the yak’s bend commander for our efforts on their map last night.. just focus on what your good at, running around our spawn area trying to find people to fight you, so you can show them how amazing you are.

It’s actually harder to find people to fight then you think, considering as soon as they see the guild tag they run away, but i guess nothing we can do about that.
