It’s funny, people always say I should go play spvp if I want competitive pvp. I just fought a thief a couple times, tiger finisher (spvp rank40-49) with the champion slayer title (200+ tournament kills), and he wasn’t even remotely challenging. I could probably list at least 10 thieves I’ve fought against who only do wvw that are 10x better.

Make that three times, he jumped me as I was typing this post and still lost.

Yeah, people aren’t typically a threat when you outnumber them three to one or more, which are the only times I see Mag actually fight anyone. Oh, unless the opponent is half health or can’t fight back in some way…

Its very simple, some people like to PvD, some people like to PvP. We like to PvP.

You don’t get through the door till you get through the people. That’s the fun of the mode, you get both. Something a little more complex than deathmatch.

But why are you in a game mode featuring siege as a primary motivator then, when they have a DM mode basically. I don’t begrudge people to play the way they want, but just don’t think others are going to be impressed, because they aren’t interested in what you are.

Because in tPvP they would have to faced balanced and even geared/lvlved players. Much easier to run D/D ganker in WvW and knock around the noobs and if you do get out played you have allot of room to run. Not so much in tPvP

In this video you can not tell if he has keybingings or not as he does hit #1 spam. So maybe he just used mouse to click #4 shield with mouse using other hand because in that situation not really needed and maybe he didn’t feel like moving his finger off the #1 key. But you are assuming otherwise inorder to fell superior and mock him. That is like so High Schoolish.

you can clearly see him mouse click atleast 4-5 different skills/utilities consistently throughout the video.

I own the video Cheloss you posted here so mocking, I commented that due to problems with my computer and I’ve been playing with laptop and makes me more comfortable to use the keyboard and mouse, I’m a player won tournament spvp payment. I know you’re angry with our guilds because we went to your server and expect a healthy competition and to stop playing dirty using spies to learn our strategies.

Our clan is great but not perfect which will be improved but you must admit that now you are no match for us and it will be less in the future.

In what other readers ask personal apology for these fights but I must answer, I take to praise the perseverance of Ehmry Bay making it very entertaining game, we will be seeing during the week

You’re being motivated with morale boosters based on lies. Your guild have an awesome group of players but aren’t good. The overall leadership is really bad. Even your own server mates cannot understand why you played so bad on the opener. We cannot spy your strategies because you just don’t have any competitive strategie to play on this tier.

Funny fact is in most of cases we can face and stop your untrained zerg even when we’re a small guild. The difference between us is that we play for the server, not for personal objectives like you guys were doing.

You guys really deserve better leadership. HNY!

I’d been keen to join in and and start duel’s video. Of the Night.

They are usually announced the day of by Tzenjin of FTF (I think?) in the thread. Usually they’re later in the week when the score has settled but they did it yesterday for whatever reason. There’s a good mix there, I saw several D/D eles, guardians, mesmers, thieves, and warriors. I was one of two engineers there, and the other was also from Maguuma so I couldn’t duel him I wouldn’t call them “copy & paste” since a lot of these people are very skilled, but whatever.

I’m not sure where this is coming from, but the run filmed in the video served its intended purpose, which was to train 1200 supply from AH. In fact, it did a good bit better than that because another 450 supply were drained between DB and the Garrison.

CL are very nice folks and I’ve found their leadership easy to work with, competent, and they quicly earned my respect.

On the evening in question there was no small guild defending AH. When you weren’t full, you had people primed to port in and assist.

I hope that I read your thread the wrong way and that there is more to it than simple trolling.

Cheers for the good fight that day, it was a wonderful 10 hours siege in a fully upgraded borderland with plenty of defenders. We all felt good at the end of the day because we got good WvW, and most of us really love those long sieges.

because what I read is that you post a video to make fun of another guild, you say that we live in lies, we are bad players, and our server did not understand why we are so bad. And you apologize if you offend someone? It sounds to me like it’s only the purest and basic trolling.

Where do you get if we are or not a contribution to the server? What I see is that we have been, and expect to remain so, each time in a better way. This was the first week we were here with a strong group.

Obviously we have good players, some not very good (myself included) and many new learners, and most are looking to spend a fun time and that’s what we have obtained. And if we are or not a contribution, people belonging to our server will tell us, and, believe it or not, not what you might think or want.

What I’ve seen this week, is that we had a lot of action, very long sieges, battles we have won, lost another, because that’s the game i expected and what we are looking when we switched server.

And if anyone thinks that we have been crushed, good for him, everyone believe what they want, and are free to have an imaginative vision of reality.

Dude, we left your comunity about 2 months ago (no hard feelings). 2 Days before the opener, your leaders started a massive convocatory to fight us. And when i say “us” i mean my guild RP, putting even a bounty for our heads. Now you’re trying to saying me i’m trolling you? B* please!

If any of your administrators or leaders or whatever are still hurt because we left your comunity, is not our fault. We left them because the managemet was poor. Did you realize we left CL because we asked for a server transfer, the same transfer you’re doing now, 2 months later?

Don’t be a victim Idari, blame your “captain” Pool about all this “snowball”. Sure, we refuse to transfer because we tried really hard to improve SF but that was impossible. I’m surprised your answer about what personal goals and you might be right but it is inevitable, both rp and cl has made mistakes and do not deny it, hopefully in the future we leave our egos aside and have a healthy competition.

Yo, I was that other engie! The fight club was rather spontaneous. My friend and I saw a Maguuma player dancing with an Ebay thief, who turned out to be his girlfriend. We hung out for a while and some other FTF players joined, then we started to do a very small fight club haha. We had to move around a bit to new locations but gradually more and more started to join. Lots of good fights were had :)

So… finally came across some OG. I was running by myself to catch up to my group after porting to garrison to sell stuff in my full bag and stopped to check my map when BOOM! I got hit. I turned off my map and proceeded to reduce two of them to about 25% health and a third to about 70% when a fourth showed up. At the point where it was 4v1 I was overmatched and fell… Especially because I’m spec’d for supporting large groups with practically no utilities for 1vX. It was a fun time! Maybe I’ll run into you guys once I have my DPS build finished and I’ve had some time to practice.

When I’m out solo and get rolled up on by a group of 5 yaks, they kill me too, takes them about 3-5 minutes but ya they kill me. Should a group of OG not kill one Yak?

For everyone that says “go play Spvp” 3 of our core members used to only play spvp, but we got tired and bored of conquest, it just isn’t fun. We have stated many times as soon as they implement a “deathmatch” type mode, we will be there. Until then we will be roaming WvW for our pvp.

EDIT: Ya, I’d expect that it would take a long time to kill a cookie cutter D/D Ele. That’s the nature of that build. I think I’ve seen you in the OG videos and it looks like you play that build pretty well.
