If SoR got a bigger Oceanic/EU presence, they would dominate.

Currently 2v1 against JQ in SM. Game is unplayable because of server lag. You cast heal and it won’t begin to cast until 3-4 seconds after you hit. No way we can defend with this lag.

It’s hard to tell from that Angle in the screen shot but aht looks like the very common mesmer hiding spot to me or are they higher up then the normal one?

Yeah, unless he’s higher than the normal spot (which it looks like he’s not) it looks like you’re just a few months behind on hiding spots.

toked me 40mins to join JQ battleground – 25mins to join EB, Arena has to do something about it. I guess everybody have the same problem to join WvsW.

If I see someone, its like kitten mofos fire all your AoEs there must be a hundred of them. I literally switched to playing Necro because at least laying down some AoE Im going to hit those perma invisibles when I won’t with direct damage.

Yup. My primetime on weekends. It’s all about the number of players in a small area like the Lord’s room in SM. Reasonable number of players hammering the server = no lag.

The only video I’ve seen so far was of someone wall jumping to get up there, so let me ask, what’s the difference between wall jumping up somewhere to hide as a mesmer, and just wall jumping over a gate and portaling people in? I don’t see a difference.

I have seen the video you are referring to and I feel there’s a difference between jumping 20 times on a wall to get over it and jumping once.

This is one method of getting up. Personally, I would not call this an exploit. You are literally just using the jumping mechanic as it is meant to be used – to jump. To me, what determines whether or not it is an exploit is if you are supposed to be able to get on that rock or not. Either way, I think it’s stupid to complain about people jumping on a rock.

You’re being far too closed minded about this.

The method and application is the same, however one is obviously not intended, whilst the other is highly debatable. One you’re jumping into a tower which has a gate and walls which are supposed to be breached, the other you’re jumping onto a rock which has no method of telling you that you shouldn’t be on top of it.

It’s the same deal as when you were able to stealth cap/contest points. Stealth is a mechanic which is working as in intended, however when you went and abused it to keep a point perma-contested, it was harmful and was not working as intended. Jumping is working as intended, jumping into towers is not. Jumping onto rocks? Who knows, not you. You can still see people when they’re on that rock, and the impact of jumping onto that rock is in no way comparable to people jumping into a tower.

If you were to call that spot an exploit then you need to call that whole wall an exploit because it is the same thing.

We all know that wall has bugged textures we all know to check it. Now everyone knows to check the upper piece as well.
