Have to disagree with this somewhat. Yes, Yaks is in second place and during NA prime time we do ok, the reality is DB can win this tier easily every time. They have enough NA coverage to keep us in check and then the rest of the time they simply take all maps. Not sure what happened to SoS to be honest
Since the WvW patch 90% of the fights have been 1 giant zerg from each realm swapping towers, keeps, and camps. There have been some epic huge battles, but not nearly enough to be fun. There is no need for smaller groups and strategy, because there is no way with this group of 3 to change the standings in a significant way
I will say since the patch that there has been more SoS playing, but with Wxp being the objective there is no real battle for the weekly score
I gotta admit, the fights in the past couple of days – particularly over that T3 SMC – were definitely some of the best I’ve had in a little while. It can get a little dull either running into things that you really can’t properly respond to like NNK running riot after our SEA logs for the night or raiding groups that will map out as soon as you wipe them once (or worse, literally as soon as they see you’ve got enough people to actually defend), but credit where credit’s due for some very good fights.
I do also have to give props to the rest of the community. What looked like a certain drop into T4 last weekend has turned into keeping Maguuma waiting for at least another week. It’s always nice to see that a world has some fire left in it.
Our loot bags couldn’t cull fast enough, take care SoS, lol.
Can you upload that one where you guys snuck into the back of bay in the water and got wiped, I like that one a lot, lol.
And that golem rush was completely hillarious. Hopefully someone fraps that! haha
Yeah, I remember all of those, we had 15 vs your 25+. I’m glad you think so highly of [TG], I mean if the enemy expects us to win with those odds it must say something about us — good fights though, we had a blast fighting SoS.
Haha, you guys don’t have the reputation you think ,or hope, you do. But you guys are pretty good. If anything the fights are a ball, and you guys don’t back down from a challenge. It’s one thing being able to wipe someone over and over, but it’s being wiped and having the guts to get back on the field. Keep up the good work, lads.
Hey, I do give those folks credit for wiping a good size (albeit) pug zerg. Being in a keep of course helps but still looked like fun!

Be in all seriousness, both YB and DB (in my opinion) have guilds that have improved over the last couple weeks. Maguma might be in for a treat when they do come up. Keep on improving and trying new tactics.

I think Dragonbrand has Kaineg, FA, and Tarnished Coast to thank for some of our improvement. We had to step up the game to fight those larger servers. And for that matter SOS that first week they moved into tier 3.
Dear SoS: do you hear that sound? That is the sound of every heart in the entire Maguuma zerg breaking this reset. They had such hopes, you guys….such hopes.
