Looks like this week is BGs last hurrah. From what I hear it sounds like there is way too much drama in bg’s community (never a good sign). I like the fact that SoR has zero drama and all our guilds are here to stay and are NOT scounting other servers. This up and down weeks for bg can’t last long, they must really hate not coming in first.

I think there’s some misinformation happening in the first picture, I know Choo didn’t walk away from anything but JQ BL after that fight.

We hung in for a while that night actually. Easter weekend unfortunately hit us hard. We topped out on 27 Choo in WvW x( Was fun though we worked on small group tactics for a while despite our comp sucking. It was also different not seeing the backs of KnT anymore! Hehe Happy Easter Everyone!

If people leave BG the entire wvw community is imploding. If BG maintains a strong PPT over a holiday it’s because people are trying too hard and everyone there is an atheist. If BG’s scores are not “regular” then the score volatility will destroy morale. I guess BG just can’t win.

And didn’t you know BG always has drama between guilds? Didn’t you know BG’s community is terrible and everyone who plays on that server just hates one another?

You can’t believe someone from BG if they tell you different. They’re just trying to cover it all up.

BG Teamspeak has not been unusually overpopulated this week, so if anything, it’s JQ and SoR who have had low Invader turnout. Perhaps it’s due to the holiday. Maybe it’s the new PvE content. Last week’s match BG had almost no one logging on for some reason and doomsday prophets predicted the end of the server. But now, no one is predicting the end of SoR or JQ, because they think it’s just silly. Anyone seeing the spin yet? Just me?

There are no excuses for low turnout It’s just a natural ebb and flow of the game.

Just cause your no lifes stayed up and played WvW for the last 2 days while others visited family and other Easter things, doesn’t mean BG isn’t about to implode. Youve PVDoored for almost 2 days now, and youre barely in the lead, seems like you should be higher.

It’s neither. Two guilds transferred, for reasons that had nothing to do with BG, and sparked primarily due to transfers to Medium pop servers being free last week. Their departure was not jumping ship from BG, but rather jumping ship from T1. BG as a server has nothing to prove to it’s existing guilds and players, other than continuing to work together, be respectful to one another and find ways to improve our game.

Also, people still don’t seem to see that there is always a server in T1 playing harder (more) than the others, driven largely by the amount of effort put in and result of the previous week(s). It’s a constant war of action and reaction, of pushes and pauses, of momentum and stagnation, driven partly by the events in the game, and partly by statements made in this very forum.

BG won the match before last. JQ said “oh no you didn’t”, and responded with force last week. SoR followed suit, and as the reality of finally scoring ahead of BG set in, your guys pushed and played hard in the final days of the match. BG seeing the futility of the week, took it easy, and responded this weekend with renewed vigor.

Anyhoo .. such is T1. There is no explaining what happens. There’s no rationalizing victory and defeat. All you can do is get in game and play for your team, and let the tide take you.

Agreed. Hopefully it doesn’t come to that, best approach always is to recognize, admit and confront problems rather than deny them.

Woah, woah, woah, you can’t be serious in thinking that the loss of two guilds means the loss the of the server. Some people have really stepped up this week— notable commanders I’ve seen on anytime I am include Kurthos, Sir Tryce, Malevolent Omen, and many more. All of which who’ve led us exceedingly well. Wish I knew their account names so I could give them better recognition, but there you go. Everyone’s been extremely communicative as far as cross-map chat has gone, and everyone’s put in great effort to win this week.

Don’t feel bad, JQ, you still have a few days to catch up, and if you’re as good as the more “passionate” of you say you are, then you should be able to knock us out easily by the end of the week’s match.

Yes, and all of JQ’s victories have been hard-won, against waves and waves of SoR and BG players right? Or is PvD only valid if it isn’t BG doing it?

Your concern is appreciated, but we have lost guilds before, and the server did not implode by any definition of the word.

It seems that as the weeks progress, these matchup threads become increasingly vitriolic and mean-spirited. I think it’s a shame because I don’t dislike either SoR or JQ as opponents.

Your information is different than mine, as far I know the problem arised right from the beginning and the explanation given was that WvW population does not represent the server population.
Anyhow, I’m glad if they transferred without paying the fee.

From what I remember reading on our forums, not everyone did. The server moved to High before they could get everyone over. Anyways, the point I was making is that ET WAS Medium, and free to transfer to, at the time they made their decision. What happened after that is irrelevant because the decision was already made at that point.

Everyone claimed SoR went out in force last week but in reality we played normal hours on a normal schedule and still beat BG. JQ on the other hand lost one week from the try-hard BG and went out in force last week, but the end result I’m sure showed JQ’ers that its not even required to go full force to take BG out. I’m starting to think that BG as a server does not understand how the elo system works, when you push for 1st and then come back the week after and not maintain the same ppt/end result, you end up losing points. This week it looks as if they are gonna push for 1st again, which again makes no sense with the current system because they will not be able to maintain 1st in t1 with JQ around. Might be time for BG to start playing smart, and within there own limts. At this point BG is shaping up to be the next server to burn themselves out with all this try-hard they are doing. We dont play ELO, we play to win. If that’s cause some burnout on some weeks, so be it. At least we were able to won JQ once already. SoR should try the same and not being scare of hitting JQ at their own borderland. Still I love how you people always say SoR has so awesome skill all the time :P, Same O’ SoR style.

Its funny because the facts are that it is a lack of presence of JQ and SOR , not extra hours from BG this weekend . Maybe you guys burned yourself out last week? Also it’s funny how the forums turn out to be 2 v 1 …

Feeling the need to pour all those extra hours into a matchup, leads many to believe that you are trying to show the casuals/individuals on the fence of leaving that you can compete and that they should stay. The up and down score totals turns off your casuals and the core wvw players on the fence see right through it. They know you are just going to burn out sooner rather than later.

Edit: The fact 4 BG responded to this within a few minutes, leads me to believe they are on damage control.

No hard feelings, no kitten talking, and next to no elitist. The more time we waste on the forums bashing each other and churning the rumor mill in hopes of poaching a guild here and there and psyching people out, the less time we have to plan GvG’s and represent our guilds in game. I personally hope all three servers stay in t1 because there is no other real competition out there.
Anyways, love you guys, I hope its just a few bad seeds from every server making all the hate and sillyness.

BG is getting 2v1’ed even in the forums. Also, lol at JQ and SoR who have done multiple CTA’s since we reached T1 but are still calling on us as over-timing. Gotta love the intellectuals who post in the T1 threads.
