I can’t imagine how you guys would be so mad at this, especially if you’re on a T1 server. I kind of laugh. It’s not like you lost, because you obviously won, they lost even more though because now they have to log in, load the map, and might have to wait for an atrocious queue time instead of clicking respawn at waypoint

You’re all assuming that the ALT-F4ers are logging immediately back in.

When I see it happen I assume they’ve ripped the power from their computer, thrown a tantrum, swung their mouse against the wall before hurtling themself to the ground, curling up in the fetal position, rocking gently, sobbing and singing ‘Soft Kitty’ to themselves until the pain goes away.

Is this what you tell yourself to get you by? So how should it be done? Maybe when a group runs into you they should all take turns at fighting you while giving you breaks between fight. Fair and skilled?

Like it or not, WvW is not about how skilled your zergs are, not about how good the players in that zerg, are, it’s about how good the commanders are and how developed the people’s listening ability is.

You think you are denying zergs something by quitting the game before death? You are wrong. With that many people around I doubt anyone would really care, I sure don’t when one of you guys does it.

And why would I? All of the ones I’ve seen doing this dirty deed are guys who run solo thinking they can be some kind of Rambos or whatever, which would explain why you find large groups so offensive. All in all, a guy doing this and getting shot back in the queue (which is always up at the hours I join WvsW) is a service to the overall quality of the battlegrounds, so please, do it as often as you like, aside being regarded with pity, I’m pretty sure you don’t get much out of it.

I don’t know why repair costs are such a big deal in this game to people then. Considering you make money doing anything, anywhere. Sounds more like an excuse to me.

You probably have underestimated the repair costs. Try leveling a fully armored char in WvW from lvl 1 to 80 and a second char fully naked in WvW from lvl 1 to 80. Compare the amount of gold in inventory in both char when each reached lvl 80.

You WILL see the difference.

I may not have done the above EXACTLY but I probably have level 2 chars in the above scenario through 60 levels in WvW. The difference is I have 18 more gold in the fully naked char than the fully armored char. With this 18 more gold, I can probably buy 3-5 pieces of exotics gear from the AH.

Play smart, don’t waste your gold repairing junk blue and green items. Spent it on repairing exotic items if you must.

The fact of the matter is that alt+f4 exist. It doesn’t bother me when you use it because the rate of badge drop is not even that good. If you alt+f4 you will have to restart client, reload game, re-enter the WvW maps considering it isn’t queued. So alt+f4 all you want.
