Guild Wars 2

Since the leaderboard won’t be in-game and, rather, located on the main website, most people won’t be able to see your hard earned rank in WvW.

I know your enemies see your WvW rank, and that is awesome, but is there any plan to make so that your allies can see it as well through a displayed number, rank title, or other means?

I would love to see an option where we can to switch ranks and titles off completely. I don’t care if people are a legendary general or a travel…

I think this should certainly be an option too. Turning it off for just enemies would be my preference. I can see their WvW rank and that’s all that matters.

I think a distinct difference between dead and alive enemy’s would be nice as well.

Dead enemies have an empty health bar and cannot be targeted, alive enemies have a non-empty health bar and can be targeted. Pretty distinct difference.

I love the idea of this thread, but I have to agree with jayne, I’m one of those odd players that likes to see my own nameplate on my head as well.

I was thinking more of a transparency of the red name. After a very large zerg v zerg fight the landscape tends to be littered with red names some dead, some downed, some neither.

I would love to see my own name as well.

I also would like Guild Wars 2 to sport an identify button which you select someone and press identify and it brings up a window with all their base stats, armor, and also their WvW rank. I would love to be able to identify peoples weapons and armor that they are holding/wearing. That would be awesome.

If you’re in a group and one of your party members calls target on you, I believe you nameplate shows up. Obviously not viable if you actually use the target system to, well, target things though.

I think a /wrank emote would be great for being able to show allies your rank.

This would be great too! The rank emote for sPvP iis similar to the Fame system to gain rank from GW1. I would love to see the same sort of thing for WvW and you get an emote after rank 10 or 20 maybe?
