CD has never been a bad server. As long as I can remeber CD was a T3 server at one point CD was in T2.. Between T2 and T4 they havent changed much besides losing a guild here and gaining a guild there. Why it is that as of lately they did worst or better I dont know.

We actually had 3 rounds of guilds leaving. One where some of our best guilds went to SoS , one right before free transfers ended that decimated most of our NA force and at least half of our SEA, and one in the first week with SoS that saw most of our remaining SEA leaving.

Lower ranked servers that are winning or have won this week, meaning they have a positive result (greater than .5) in the given matchup.

Note that this doesn’t even include servers that have done better than the rating differentials would expect.

EU:

And after reset just now on EU, Jade Sea (3) is behind Augury Rock (9) and Piken Square (10) on points. And even though the matchup is only just beginning, it shows the rating difference created by the previous system is not that good of an indication of server strength.

My matchup is also playing out different than expected, as it’s very close with Blacktide and Ring of Fire at the moment. I’m happy about the matchup changes, and I was really looking forward to reset just to find out who we would be up against. Variety does a lot of good.

Reset doesn’t show much of anything in an overall match, always get weird scores then. Let’s see how it looks in a few days.

The new system is an embarrassment that Arenanet should be ashamed of. It produces awful, skewed matchups that aren’t as even or much fun as the previous system.
