I got my first ascended weapon chest today at rank 670. When did you get your first and how often do they seem to occur?

278 at the moment. got one celestial ascended staff months ago and a couple of rings now and then.

I am currently rank 630ish and I have gotten about 4-5 Ascended Trinkets, but that was over a large time span… But I found an Ascended Cleric Weapon Box and Ascended Knight Armor earlier this week. Not sure if the drop rate was increased or I just got lucky with those drops. The Ascended Knight Drop was from either a Veteran Scout or an enemy player…

I got lucky about 3 months ago and found a precursor drop off a Veteran Scout though =D.

I’m rank 740 and I’ve gotten 5 armor, 2 weapon and 3 or 4 rings.

I got one ascended armour box so far and a total of 2 exotic items that came from rank up chests + bonus chests. The amount of rare items might be around a dozen perhaps. And that’s at around rank 250

rank 592 – no ascended chest yet (got 1 ascended ring, but i don’t need any of those since i have received over 20 easily from FotM)

in Fractals of the Mist (FotM) – i’ve run 451 fractals and still no ascended weapons chest. whereas i see people who have already gotten 2-3 and have run far less than me.

2 chests in a few hundred levels across different characters, all before the merge. The drop rate for wvw is terrible. They should make the SMC boss give the same drops as a world event in PvE. Make it once a day, and give a special chest. That way more people come when SMC is being raided. Ontop of that, give the normal chest. Then give champions from keeps a better chest than the ones in towers. Keeps are harder to take, but all we get is a little bit more silver/karma.

350 ish wvw rank no chests, no rings, nothing, nothing at all. Nothing Ascended from pve or wvw or from any chests or champ bags. It seems some people got all the luck leaving everyone else getting nothing. This coming from someone playing since the games release.

Randomly Skirmishing around has brought better results for me than all my WXP chests! (right at the end of vid)
RNG for the Chests are not great for most, but the lucky few.

Working as intended.

Several months ago I got an ascended weapon chest, before the pooled wxp change, when the toon I was on was about wxp lvl 25 (at the time I had 4 others about the same wxp lvl). A few days ago I got an ascended armor chest. My pooled wxp lvl was about 175. Both times I was under the effect of a birthday +100% mf booster.
