I hope it’s not rude to say this here but I kind of wish there were separate ranks for eotm and wvw though… Someone said it earlier and I agree, eotm has devalued the meaning of ranks. I used to oggle at a gold rank but now platinum to me just says that person spends a lot of time in eotm.

The amount of kitten in this thread… If it’s ok to brag about your legendaries or your achievement points, etc then it’s def ok to brag about being the first to reach that rank. It doesn’t take skill to farm EotM but it doesn’t take skills to farm dungeons or do your dailies every day since release either.

So congrats on the dedication and being the first to get Diamond Legend!

Questionable… Your group might be avoiding fights, but a group looking for fights can come for you and make you wipe. The only way to 100% avoid a wipe would be not give your position on the map, which is kinda impossible since EotM is mostly mindless PvDoor with orange swords popping at every objective you hit.

When SFR was red for several weeks back to back Bunny was the great white hope that saved your farming sessions. 90% otherwise you couldn’t even farm the map when you got wiped all the time. Same thing with blue at one point. Although blue seems stronger nowadays.

If you just run point from point avoiding the enemy at all cost all the time it turns out you dont cap keeps and towers anymore = much less xp and slower train. You have to **** them where they live once in a while or they do it.

I would like to see EOTM to be something else than just farming map. But if you farm its good there’s somebody that can lead the train efficiently. My goal it to max the wvw traits and get to gold level after that I dont have much reason to level my wvw rank.

As far as the utilities go. I think its trolling/semi-trolling and it looks good on those screen caps fitting sylvari theme. I think he/she uses at least judge’s intervention, syg and other normal guardian utilities….

Everytime a player does something amazing, there are tons of jelious players who insult and nitpick thier accomplishments.

In eotm you eventually start avoiding fights if you hunt them down and demoralize them say the first hour match instead of only capping., constantly wiping them fast and easy on every encounter. If you’re aggressive enough and deny them keep/tower capping by wiping them to the circle lots of times. Even better.

They usually start avoiding you and attacking you after that.

But anyway the eotm farming is much better if you cap points AND farm the easy to kill enemy. Play guardian staff 1111. Or necro plague + wells + marks + ds = lots of bags. Pop a birthday booster and you can get 50-120 wxp from a single kill.

Yea, dedication to zerging/ktraining. There’s NO way an upgrader/defender would have this much. Again, ANET tailors to the ktrain/zerg. Us upgraders/defenders get the short end of the stick. I have less than 1/4 the EVERYTHING – gold/exp/sp/wxp/ranks/badges/etc than my ktraining/zerging friends! Welcome to Zerg Wars 2

It’d be really nice if ANET could make defending as profitable as ktraining/zerging. Then maybe more people would defend too and there wouldn’t be quite so much ktraining/zerging. It’d be nice to have epic BATTLES again (like back near launch) instead of all this PvD we have going on now…

For my part, it’s a place I go to level alts, and farm champion bags. If I meet an opposing zerg, by all means, I dive into the fight.

If you’ve ever followed Bunny in EotM, you should be perfectly aware of the fact that she’s the ultimate EotM-commander.

I’ve leveled four alts in EotM, and I haven’t seen ONE single commander there other than Bunny who actually understood a thing or two about tactics, like going straight for the keep so that the people who have to respawn will have an easier time getting back to the zerg. Or like someone else mentioned earlier; laying brilliant traps for enemy zergs.

The fact that Bunny usually makes green ragequit while playing red is enough proof that she’s awesome. SFR loves Bunny. Screw you haters.

Well to be honest and serious with you and for all those that like FSB. There has been a lot of drama with her and other main commanders on Seaferer’s Rest. FSB is called Karma Queen and that is for a reason; you see also in eotm.

Point is, EBG and BL are not eotm. There things are much more different and you involve a whole community. A commander that cannot speak in teamspeak cannot lead a group in Seafarer’s Rest, that is unspoken law. So conflict started with FSB and other commanders because groups were splitting and it was disastrous for WvW.

Unfortunatelly things went overboard and many flamed and raged on her creating alot of Drama. She left WvW and focus only eotm now.

So you admire an outcast SFR commander, that was not good enough for the server.

Personally I want to see FSB assisting SFR normally in WvW, as a SFR player should; I tried to speak with her but I got blocked

Definitely what I wrote here is a general summary that can be also off about her but I might was able to give a general picture.

Lastly, I believe FSB has a sharp eye for WvW and possibly a talent on it (told that in ts also) but is a hard personality to deal with.

If you havent been in tier 1 you know that cant be good enough if you are not in teamspeak. Now you may have an experienced group like guild players from raiding guilds who know how to play but that is really rare, especially in EBG.

So you want to ask for buff up, empowers, order a veil in the left, charge, stop and run back, turn right, ask for a static, tell them to attack enemy but dont use specific skills, ask for a water and a fast regroup for healing. And all those in a period of less than 10 seconds. How are you gonna do that? Type? – not possible and tested from the start of the game, thats the reason all decent servers and guilds use teamspeak and promote it.

So if you have people scouting towers, escorting dolyaks, reporting and in general spending hours in WvW without fighting but helping, and you have a commander that loses each one of the fights because not in teamspeak (EOTM vs EBG and BL tier 1 on prime time is like comparing killing ambient creatures with killing tequitl), what you do? Why should the rest suffer for that? And ofcourse Funny Sunny Bunny knew that and sometimes gave her lead to others, some other times she was trollig throwing random sieges down.

Anyhow, not taking sides, there where mistakes from both sides. For me she should do an effort and join ts or not take lead if she cant and the community shouldn’t insult and flame her.

1. Silver rank
2.Copper rank
3.Gold rank
4.Below copper
5.Platinum/mithril/diamond

From reading a few of these posts I’m gonna guess your block list is very long lol….. So many ppl hate you that you have to block them or do you hate them for whatever reasons (im guessing most of them your server players)? I think this is kind of sad but if it makes you happy thats all that matters
On the topic of ts I have only ever encountered one commander that was really good at commanding without a mic, and I’m from deso, t1 server. Don’t ask me how he did it, but it was just beautiful…. commanding eb most of the time as well. Thank god he now has a mic so it was only temporary anyways, but it did work.
