Because it’s lame. It’s against the spirit of the achievement, sadly people just see pixels and numbers and get lost in a game. It devalues actual players’ time and effort they spent getting the title. Literally no point to do it unless you’re that desperate for another title or a miniscule amount of irrelevant achievement points.

People could just wait until your next post whining about how an item or something else you own is devalued again and then spam this thread link for the irony. I think you cried about the monkey king tonic or mini.

Nothing, they removed all the loot in Obsidiansanctum a while ago. But I guess you could make the skillpoints to gold somehow.

This farm is ruining a difficult title to get.

Well at least when I get yak slapper (4 more years) I’ll have one I can wear with pride, unless they start making yaks spawn in OS that is. And at the rate they (ANet) are making actual achievement mean nothing I can see them doing that next week.

This so much. It’s one of the very few rewards in WvW and it’s being trivialized into another farm for acheivments.

It’s a title.

X amount of kills grants the title.

People want this title so they found an easy way to get it. This easy way, from my point of view, is legit.

At the end of the day it’s just a title and what seems like a very minute amount of APs for such an immense amount of kills which can be hastened by participating in this ‘easier’ method of obtaining kills.

Because of the EotM 24/7 ktrain, virtually most all prestigious aspects of WvW have been watered down to the point that badges and WvW ranks don’t matter. The only forms of prestige people really seem to have any more are either recognition on a server(s) and the hard to reach titles, like Ultimate Dominator.

Sadly the PvP farm does exist lol that’s the custom arena skyhammer thing I believe where they trade point caps. Looks like anet are happy as long as people are buying custom arenas.

Except this method takes a lot more time than actually playing in unranked or ranked normally. The only reason to do it is to NOT play pvp. I guess these people just like grinding like robots. Sad really.

Looking for FSP People again for this Matchup

Prestige comes from in-game performance not from some title. Even before OS farm, it was about the grind, it just too longer.

The titles/ranks don’t matter when you’re about to fight a group . The guild tag does and it’s what tells you if who you’re about to face is tough as hell or isn’t.

I really don’t get why people take this so seriously.
