And in that vain, nice job to BP trying to take our (DB) BL Bay keep this morning. If I hadn’t looked in the very corner I never would have seen the 3 catas you had on the wall. Now, I might not have been the only one on DB to notice, but I love how 1 person (no matter their level) can make a huge difference in WvW. Standing guard, working siege, running supply, so much for anyone of any level or ability to do. Best part of GW2 for me.

We try moving it forward to some new WvWvW DB players and it’s so nice to see some of them stick around =)) And these are players who initially just wanted to complete maps LOL! Now, I see them regularly and most of them are more active and eager to contribute whatever they can.

Here’s a shout out to Abbish, Drisk, ElDude, Cylios and our Commanders who sure make WvWvW very interesting and fun for us! And no…Cristin is not a naked lady commander. She’s clothed! =))

Funny how the entire week we have been behind, we have not once thrown the “zomg they are double teaming us” excuse. BP salutes us for the close competition until they are legitimately close to loosing and they start saying things about holidays and double teaming.

where is the sportsmanship :/ I mean people are cool on db, but if you all think every server on the game has some bias or hidden motive to let us win-well whatever makes the loss easier to swallow

It was pretty obvious my post was targeted toward Smooth Penguin. I am really wondering as to how you could have confused it with a reply to one of the million kitten posts you have made on the thread

Today was a fun day in EB. Hats off to BP repelling us from your keep several times. We eventually decide to treb from Langor which finally got the job done. Good job DB keeping it close during NA primetime.

Just a reminder that at some point your team will be 2v1. DH trebbing your keep was of no assistance in helping us take it. In fact that prevented us from placing siege on the walls, plus we ended up sandwiched between both groups. That’s why we had to hit it from the other side. Also it made perfect sense for DH to go after Durios and Bravost as we flipped them earlier and they had no upgrades. There was zero chance of DH getting WC or Klovan with full upgrades and tons of siege on them.

I can’t believe that Darkhaven would actually team up with Dragonbrand to knock us out of first place. DH was Trebbing our Keep while DB moved in with ground troops.

Don’t get me wrong, this week has been fun. Fighting China and Taiwan on their peak hours requires a lot of skill.

Earlier today on Dragonbrand boarders we were getting attacked by BP and DH. I found a group of them hiding out by hills and not attacking one another. They also coordinated to hit bay and hills at the same time, as well as help each out while they double teamed garrison. Specifically RE guild from DH. We eventually pushed them out but some dirty stuff is happening here at the end. Shame because it has been a fun week.

Pump your breaks, RE did not double team with any one today, we went to DH BL and DB BL today. In DB BL today around 4:30-5 PM PST we seen the east keep being attacked so we took advantage of it, afterwards we took Cliffside and I think I recall Garrison being hit prior to, so we hit it as well afterwards.

No, you did not get double teamed today, we seen windows of opportunity and struck, all we want to do is paint the most we can. And if the first thing (on our side in your BL) we see is our natural Keep being hit, we will have no indifference of trying to capitalize on it either.

And we did fight with BP under the east keep and in Garrison today in DB BL, you might have not seen it

UH if we were trebing from our keep to the north wall of sm, we do that almost all day everyday. nothing new there.. no way we would team up with db , EVER. (no offense.)

On a side note I will be holding WvW class at 11PM-12AM eastern time on the DH Bl. Going to sit down and teach the basics of WvW(siege placement, simple tactics, how to defend, how to get past towers that are being attacked, etc) to everyone in Darkhaven one person at time if I must. I am going to do this a lot in the next few weeks except this week since I am going on vacation for a week to Mexico on Saturday. I will be back though I promise.

Had the keep for a good hour or more and it had full supply as you can see in the picture. It was ours for some time and it’s the same keep that they tried to exploit before. It was not a portal in. If it was I would have noticed it way sooner then that.

Even if you got 80% of BP to abide by a ceasefire, and we were able to do the same on DH and DB(or EBay), that missing 20% of people will mess things up.

Also, speaking purely for myself and my guild, we enjoy doing WvW, and while family and holiday obligations may limit the playtime hours of some players, there are also many players who are getting time off work or school and will be playing more.

No ceasefire is desired.

It’s been a fun and competitive matchup this week. I’m glad it was so good.

The accusations of cheating, spying, and double-teaming, and exploiting are signs that we all want to win and we think our servers deserve a shot a the #1 spot. It’s been fun tangling with DH this past month and I hope that your server can pull itself back together quickly. And BP has definitely been a shocking competitor. There were a couple times this week when I took a look at the score and almost threw in the towel.

To paraphrase one of the best movies of all time: The DH and BP we killed this week in WvW are some of the finest human beings we will ever know. After we rotate back to PvE, we’re gonna miss not having anyone around worth shootin’.

This will be my last post on this thread, seeing as how i work today.

To those in DB that think BP doesn’t want Ehmry Bay, we have a score to settle with them from a few months ago. Bring in on.

To my server, what in the hell happened to our night presence? Did you transfer or just figure, “hey, we have a big enough lead, let’s not WvW anymore this week”? DB is oceanic, ergo their days are our nights. We should never have lost this with the lead we had 36 hours ago. Period.

That exploit into the keep is being abused by many servers and the only way it will stop is when anet patches it. Screenshots and so forth will do little to nothing unfortunately and all you can really do is report the exploit.

Good job dragonbrand especially the night crew! If some major guilds move to dragonbrand i welcome them to the dark side >:) we also especially welcome all those with a good day presence in wvw.

The match isn’t over yet. If DB wins, congratulations, they made a good push on Thursday. It is actually they’re NA prime players that should be congratulated though, the Asian players have an easy time playing two servers asleep, but they are actually putting up quite a fight at NA prime time and blocking BP from making it back up like it was in the beginning of the match. But we never know, maybe BP will still be able to push a bit more before reset.

We have already learned quite a few tricks with DB and we’re putting them to good use.

All in all, we have loved playing against DB and DH this week. Putting all talk about cheating and all that jazz aside, you have been worthy opponents. DB and DH definitely are not the same as AR but with more numbers. You guys use siege in a different way, you use different tactics, you sweep of mesmers, use AOE stacking, etc etc.

If we do not win, we will still be happy with the great job we did this week.

I keep seeing posts about BP exploiting, however, I am not seeing SS or names being posted. I know that most, if not all, of the PACT doesn’t lower our standards to such play, however, PUGs might. I ask that if you see such a person from BP, report it. If you are right, one less moron to deal with. If you are wrong, well, you will continue to see them around.

I was in the BP BL last night and Stargrove camp. Our commander says “Anyone at Hills? I just saw 3 run from the supply camp toward that direction” I saw no swords on Hills, but I figured I was close so I ran over. Nothing at all. I was standing on the NW gate when I saw 3 run by. I told him so, that they were just heading by, looked like they were on their way to Stargove and altered our guy there to get ready. Commander says “Okay, just wanted to make sure they weren’t setting up catas” I thought, no swords here, but I should check just in case. I rounded the corner on the wall and saw 3 catas at the wall. I thought wow, didn’t we just take Hills with 3 catas but I swear they were all built, not 2 built 1 not. I then noticed a second later that I didn’t get the little cog icon when hovering over them. Swore a couple times, jumped down and destroyed all three (with another DB player).

I can’t believe I almost missed this. Thank goodness for an alert commander.

However, how the heck did 3 DKz build them? That’s about 125 supply for 2 1/2 catas for 3 guys or about 4 trips each. That’s some serious dedication. I think they were a guardian, an ele and one other. I honestly felt bad destroying them since they had such a great plan and great dedication.

At this exact moment, DB is moving up to T4 and EB is moving down to T5.

Finally after begging people in guild chat to come over we got 10 and took the tower with the event. From there it seems like more and more people showed up. Ended up with a ton on the map taking everything on it. Again, the power of individuals shines through for me.

Also, a shout out to our commanders and WvWers who stayed up all night and day yesterday to take the lead. I saw most when I logged off at 1am on still when I logged on at 8am. /agree. Our night crew has always been on it-but yesterday db had a very successful day push. I think most of us realized bp is capable of putting together some of the biggest zerges )

But with all the chaos of a zerge, they were very vulnerable on their own bl-their obsession with pushing db bl was allowing easy seige caps all over the whole map with no real police force separating from the zerge to stop the bleeding.

Plus a kitten that purrs hard does not purr long. With such a strong, strong beginning of the week it seemed bp lost alot of numbers for the nights that matter the most. Db, great job I love how many times we have pushed from behind, hopefully our defense can prove to be coordinated enough to hold our lead

The entire zerg was still outside of the tower when it was flipped.

when I rean up to the tower the back wall under the bridge to the lords room was 100% and not being attacked. When i rounded the front the zerg showed up with seigerazor guy so i rolled inside. I got on the catapalt and started hitting the gate, 10 seconds later i lagged, wasn’t to long, maybe 3-4 seconds, zerg was still outside, tower was flipped, and when i turned around a guardian and mesmer started attacking me.

So I don’t know how they got in but they did.

I’ll say my piece and drop it. I’m not sure how the tower was flipped either. I brought a group of guys over to help at the tower shortly after the zerg showed up. We hit the zerg from the bridge and while we were all fighting the tower flipped. The funny thing is the zerg kept catapulting the wall for a short time after it was flipped. Why would the zerg have not ran into the tower to capture it? We did not have near enough people to stop them so it wasn’t like they were focused on keeping us out of the tower. There were no visable walls down and the gate was up. Again I don’t understand how it was flipped but it was.

Regardless of what happened I have had a blast for the latter part of this week. DH has had much better organization the last two or three days compared to eariler in the fight. The best news is I have seen a lot of new faces in WvW this week. I have been slammed with questions which is awesome for the future of our server. Keep your head up Darkhaven!

lol, good times. We usually run +5 supply when we do ninja stuff in small groups. That’s our moment of relaxation cause DKz is usually involved with map control and it’s fun to just go out and try something crazy for the hell of it. Don’t feel bad though, we feel great when we do that to you. :p

I’d like to give a shout out to the guilds that bugged the kitten out of me because they were very difficult opponents to beat.

EA – great guild, very skilled players. Tough cookies to crack these guys.
NNK – can you be any more annoying? Your guild is huge and you guys come on when it’s like 10 hours past my bed time. You can field 50 players on a borderland easily and you know what to do with siege. kitten Move to Kaineng pls!
NEWL – I love you guys. Thank you for transferring to DB. When we left GoM behind I thought I would never be able to fight you guys again. Usually when we find an enemy group it’s like “kill those noobs” but when we meet you it’s “oh kitten, it’s NEWL”
RE – Invulnerability stuff aside, you guys have some pretty annoying and skilled players. You guys haven’t got an “Oh kitten it’s RE” from me yet, but you put up great fights. Just one thing though, when you see DKz take a tower or keep in your map or side of the map in EB, think twice before attacking us. A lot of times we’re just trying to take it away from DB so you can take it more easily and they won’t have the points. Today in DH BL I was going to open bay and defeat the lord and then have all my players /bow and leave the keep to you guys, but you attacked us and I didn’t have time to organize it. That was sad. We came to your BL to help you fend off DB from there. Next time attack their kitten first pls.

I’d like to give a shout out to the guilds that bugged the kitten out of me because they were very difficult opponents to beat.

EA – great guild, very skilled players. Tough cookies to crack these guys.
NNK – can you be any more annoying? Your guild is huge and you guys come on when it’s like 10 hours past my bed time. You can field 50 players on a borderland easily and you know what to do with siege. kitten Move to Kaineng pls!
NEWL – I love you guys. Thank you for transferring to DB. When we left GoM behind I thought I would never be able to fight you guys again. Usually when we find an enemy group it’s like “kill those noobs” but when we meet you it’s “oh kitten, it’s NEWL”
RE – Invulnerability stuff aside, you guys have some pretty annoying and skilled players. You guys haven’t got an “Oh kitten it’s RE” from me yet, but you put up great fights. Just one thing though, when you see DKz take a tower or keep in your map or side of the map in EB, think twice before attacking us. A lot of times we’re just trying to take it away from DB so you can take it more easily and they won’t have the points. Today in DH BL I was going to open bay and defeat the lord and then have all my players /bow and leave the keep to you guys, but you attacked us and I didn’t have time to organize it. That was sad. We came to your BL to help you fend off DB from there. Next time attack their kitten first pls.

Anyways. What guilds in Borlis call your attention/bug you the most?

Definitely you guys DKz, you have a lot of devoted people and are some tenacious fighters. KREW is another one I noticed quite a bit of, they seemed to always be everywhere in mass force. You guys have shown some mass guild/force coordination that we haven’t faced before it was a fun challenge to face. Some stuff has been said and accusations have been flung but all in all this match up has been fun, I look forward to our next meeting BP (Even if it next week again haha).

The match isn’t over yet. If DB wins, congratulations, they made a good push on Thursday. It is actually they’re NA prime players that should be congratulated though, the Asian players have an easy time playing two servers asleep, but they are actually putting up quite a fight at NA prime time and blocking BP from making it back up like it was in the beginning of the match. But we never know, maybe BP will still be able to push a bit more before reset.

We have already learned quite a few tricks with DB and we’re putting them to good use.

All in all, we have loved playing against DB and DH this week. Putting all talk about cheating and all that jazz aside, you have been worthy opponents. DB and DH definitely are not the same as AR but with more numbers. You guys use siege in a different way, you use different tactics, you sweep of mesmers, use AOE stacking, etc etc.

If we do not win, we will still be happy with the great job we did this week.

Thanks bro. As a guild, we have learned soo many new seige placements from your server. Great fights all around. I must say. Dragonbrand is the first server we have faced with top notch defensive seige placement. We may have lost this week, but we learned so much from you guys and krew thanks you for that. Maybe the next time we face eachother we will be able to defend/hold our towers/keeps for a longer time with some of the new tatics we picked up from you. Well i don’t care what DB has to say about cheating. I just watched a 20+ players storm the DH water gate, climb around a reinforced water gate and flip the keep in under 1 minute.

Please listen and understand that DB does not and will not condone cheating. We can not help, just like yourself, if there our people on our server who feel the need to work outside the rules to win. I only ask that you report any DB player who you see cheating and hopefully they will be banned. The sad truth is that the further you go in the tiers the worse the cheating becomes because people are always looking for whatever sill give them an advantage. Please accept this apology, and lets end this great week of great WvW with respect for each other and end this fight over cheating.

Just gonna say now, before the end, that this has been the best matchup I’ve fought yet. If DB moves up, gratz, you deserve it. If we fight it out another week, I’ll be bummed because I won’t be here for most of that time. To DH, for a server bleeding guilds, You are one tough nut to crack. I still say you’re not on your way down, you’re in a holding pattern until you can train up new folk.

To the BP crew that held on through the nights , you guys are awesome. We have sacrificed so much sleep this week to try and keep our lead. Don’t despair that we’re not doing as well as we’d have wished, be proud that we did better than some folk expected.

To those on all servers that celebrate the season, have a happy and safe holiday. To those that don’t, have an awesome next week just because.

I started playing this week and chose BP as my server, and I gotta say i’m pretty happy with this wvw match. All servers been putting up a good fight this whole week. Dragonbrand getting ahead was awesome but expected since it was hard to fight them off since they had all these numbers in our downtime. Anyways, good fights everyone and happy holidays for those who will celebrate it.
