No I was at that fight if you are talking about the one where UW came through the south east gate and Maloki and her group came to reinforce what few defenders we had at the time. It highlights what is still a weakness with our server in that we often leave our own border with few defenders when there appears to be little threat, but are slow to react when a large invading force arrives. I only refer to what happened a little later. The fight with FR at Bay was great. I had guessed at the time that FR border must be largely unprotected with the numbers they had on ours. But Uw Zerg continued to stay in our border, making attempts at Sunnyhill and our Garrison only when we were busy with FR. We had to leave Bay (which FR then took) to repel UW, which we did. That’s where I would question their tactics. They allowed FR to have our Bay keep, improving FR’s score, by forcing us to defend against UW. After FR took Bay their numbers lessened. I noticed we quickly took much of the east side of Fr border. Only then did UW appear on FR border. Now I see judging by the current score that someone who leads on UW has copped on and noticed they need to focus FR to get second and have a chance of remaining in the tier.

I partly agree with you here, I think aswell it would have been “smarter” from us to take care of the south of your borderlands (including bay) rather than going for garrison but got outvoted here

I have the feeling you guys dont “care” much for what you own in your own borderlands until garrison is attacked or even lost. I think you see it as a trade in “they cap keep X here, we cap keep Y there”

Well, we held the entire french border for most of the night, and achieved a 10k point difference. More or less 6 people in the map the whole time, and 1 commander jumping from map to map taking care of everything. Fully upgraded bay, but it fell 10 minutes after it was attacked because there were 4 people defending it total. FS also woke up, just stomped everything into the ground. Why they would go for the red border instead of the blue, I wouldn’t know. I guess I should be happy to have the point difference, but can’t help but feel kitten because if FS decide to take an entire border, there is nothing we can do to stop them. Kudos.

We had all in EB so the commander told us to go to the UW BL. Everyone followed

The french border was almost completely red , the french had 30 points or something.

So no matter what border we chose we had to take UW points anyway.

The last few weeks have been great.

Fighting against FS we learned a lot: New tactics have been tried and applied, and we had insight for what we as server are still lacking to keep improving.

Great battles have been fought – some even took hours capturing or defending a single keep. These are the epic moments I come into the realm for. I don’t need a legendary or high fractals; the thrill of fighting against a clearly better human mind is far more rewarding than doing dungeon runs all day against the same AI over and over again.

I really hope the majority of the player base on our server will notice that one day and we can fill more than one and a half map with players as it is right now.
But maybe that will change soon with the new WvW progression system.

Looks like Far Shiverpeaks might be lucky enough to move up a tier. I’m glad we’re doing this, even if it’s more because of Blacktide dropping 8 rankings than us being “that much better”.
At least we get out of playing Gunnar’s next week, which feels good.

UW, good luck and have fun one tier down, I think it can be a well deserved break for you, except that you’ll be running into RoS down there.. Just keep your chin up.

And yes, when you’re behind in points you will always have less random people joining. For some reason they don’t want to join when you’re “losing” :P We experienced a lot of that the past 13 weeks.

Oh as for: Knights of the Isle: bo hoo, hate FS for having a cheerful spirit and focusing on positive matters, really? :P

I will remember this week, it was fun but i do wish UW the best luck future on, Unfortunely I doubt it be easy or that much fun in next tier, their mentalliy is Win at any cost. but lets get the best out of all of it, funny how we do move out of the tier at the same time tho.

I wish everyone on UW the best for your matchup next week, UW is a great server, I will miss fighting against you guys. You better rally up some extra people, because you have great guilds running around there, all you are lacking is some manpower.

I hope fighting your server in the future again and hope we can fight on even terms and then we can really see who manages to take the upper hand (I think if we had equal numbers we as FSP would have quiet some trouble).

Anyways, all of you randoms on the UW server that are not going into WvW because you are on the losing hand, I expect you to help out your commanders next week! It might seem like dark times now, but if you all would join in wvw for atleast 1 day a week you would definitely be at the top of your next matchup. would be a shame if we are unable to see eachother again in the future.

They don’t ban people based off just reports from players, they look at data too.

If the ban wasn’t justified he will be unbanned, otherwise he cheated. its stupid to flame a server for reporting someone they actually think its cheating… what’s the alternative? don’t report anyone?

This must be the guy we ran into on Wednesday night,i am glad he is banned as i can
imagine him laughing his rocks off while he had at least 20 of us trying to locate him to turn the supply camp (whos laughing now chump) and it got very frustrating and ruined our attampt to retake DB.
And that is the point here…he ruined the enjoyment of many for his and no doubt his guilds pleasure (and i guess a lot of them had known he could do this cheat).

I think UW should be questioning this guilds leaders about this as this kind of thing reflects on the whole server and i for one will report any one in FSP server doing anything like this .
The game is a test of skill and organisation NOT who is the cleverest computer
proggramming expert,so lets stop this Kitten where ever we find it.

i know that player and he doesn’t cheat. for sure.

and it’s not the first time i hear of people banned for no reason than unbanned after few hours because they did nothing.

right now i’m thinking that anet ban people in advance, then look at data.

i might have been misunderstood. i’m not accusing the entire server, only the ones who reported him.
just learn to look at boon/condition bar.

no he was talking about another guy that got banned this morning for something that he hasn’t done yesterday evening.
i hope that the mesmer (yes it was the same mesmer you’re talking about) has been banned and his account deleted from the database.

If you look at the video, it’s dated 23/01 and not 26. i didn’t posted it before just because there was no reason to do it.
i didn’t came here complaining about that mesmer. i posted the video just as example of cheating. i didn’t care about the server. this scum is everywhere.
i hope that you have taken screenshots and maybe a video of that fs mesmer because i heard of him too.
people like this don’t deserve to get away with it.

report for botting (because there is no cheat or hack option) and open a ticket.

There will always be people who /laugh at random occasions. I for instance /cheer @ invaders a lot. When I do that, many friends on my server join in and do the same. That doesn’t mean I reported the invader. I wasn’t there, but since you say your guildmate stayed alive for hours, I could imagine that your guildmate was running away, or hiding in a tower, invurnability spot. There will always be people who consider that to be a win and /laugh @ the enemy.

You don’t believe in coincidences? I don’t believe in accusing people without any proof. You don’t even have proof that it was UW who reported him. It could have been the other server. You know there is some time between a report and a ban? It doesn’t happen instantly.
