Yes, it’s another T8 thread!!! I just transfered out of Fergusons crossing and into Borlis Pass. I’de like to say farewell to the demoralising numbers of SF, the attempts at defending a whole map with 4 people, and the mostly green pie chart; and hello to a WvW experience that is actually fair and enjoyable.
I know nobody else cares, but something really needs to happen in T8. Even something as simple as moving Sorrows furnace up into T7 and putting a new server in the mix might generate some more interest in WvW battles. Fighting in T8 for FC and ET has been a hopeless waste of time for the 3 months i’ve been playing gw2.

I find this funny. You’re at BP, whereas some of ours went there, and frigging hate it.
Fact is, I’ll still wish you luck, even with that in mind. Another problem is, no server’s
morale is guaranteed. Say BP starts getting kicked, folks leave Wv3 for PvE. Then, you’re
trapped in a similar cycle. /shrug

SF+ET+FC have 2190.204 rating… That more than Blackgate (which have 2185.832).

So, merge everyone into the “Sorrow’s Terrace Crossing” and let’s go to T1!

I would seriously entertain this idea but it would screw up WvWvW as a whole. Merging two into a third means that the server numbers are out of whack for 3 server matchups. We would have to merge another server into this also to create the proper parity.

Also, for putting T7 at the same state as T8. I don’t think it’s possible… All servers at T7 are less than 200 rating away from the T6, while at T8 we have SF 100 rating away and ET/FC 400 rating away… Unless large blowouts like Devona’s and Kaineng happen again, the last tier won’t get messed up.

And you are correct, I always forget to remember why ET and FC ratings are so low, artificial skewing because of those servers. Basis for this whole problem really.

This is just silly. It’s not about how many are in WvWvW. It’s about closer numbers on the field and not having one server out-man you multiple times.
ANet needs a dynamic system to foster and attract people towards server with lower wvw population in the tier.

Well are those servers actually dying in PVE too? Most may not want to leave their guilds and friends for that reason.

Sometimes a move is good. Lets you refresh yourself. Left GoM to go SoR back when they were t3 or so, way to busy for me. Back to GoM.

Left GoM to go AR for about a month. Some great people there, but after a month I missed me GoMmies so home I went.

Who knows if there is a server that can balance out t8 maybe it will finally make it there and you can head home. At least you can guest there for the pve stuffs. Like the people above said, it’s a game if ya ain’t having fun, it ain’t worth it.

Wish people would actually read this stuff. If you pay attention, almost all of the T8 posters on here do have fun, that is why we play WvW for the most part. The problem is the broken system and that 2 servers have no chance against the third for +/- 3 months!!! Call it boredom, staleness, whatever.

Just because I’m curious, if you are having fun why exactly does it matter if you have a chance? Winning gets you nada. I’ve played for months against the same servers. After awhile it gets boring. And to me boring is not fun. So I moved.

Im not really sure how you define fun, but I don’t ever recall every in my life saying, wow this is some stale boring fun I’m having right now.

First, I always have a chance. Second, winning does get your several things, such as the world buffs and pride and other things.

To each their own. So my fun isn’t the same as your fun. That doesn’t mean we deserve to be stuck in this match-up.
