Looking to make a new character and was wondering what classes are good for 1v1/roaming

The one you feel the most comfortable with and can excel at. Your decision ultimately and do what you want.

Tier list isn’t a thing.

If you want a personal recommendation I recommend playing invocation revenant. The only power build rev will lose to is a thief or an extremely well played druid, and since you will be playing WvW the level of competition isn’t great anyway.

Rev gets hard countered by most anything condi, but remember you have the best mobility out of any class (obviously except for thief) so you can just run away if you don’t want to fight. It’s a great class.

Anything is good in WvW for 1v1 because 99% of players there aren’t specced for 1v1. Roamers and gankers get easy kills 24/7 because they have the spec and gear advantage.

Use stealth if you want extra easy kills.

Or just go to PvP and leave WvW for players who want to actually cap objectives and play as a team.
