I Just love when log off after a hard shift in WvW and your top, wipeing the floor with other server’s, then log in next morning to see that we lost all the hard work put in, all upgrades on keeps gone, Anet when are you going to come up with a solution to this?
Been a problem since day one if you havnt noticed.

A possible solution – Get rid of localisation, make international server’s and merge Eu and NA server’s for a 24 hour player base on all server’s

Yes, it’s really good, a bit narrow-minded maybe. Switching the matches several times a day would do nearly the same for him and would allow the others to play.

Alright you win, I’ll stop night calling your t3 Doritos if you wake up at 6 in the morning for me to get my 3 kids ready for school and come back to clean, get lunch and dinner ready mop my floors do my laundry and any other chores and watch my 1 year old also and then pick my boys up from school and then get ready to work my graveyard shift that’s 530pm to 2am so I can play during your hours.

The NA servers are in Texas. The EU ones are not. I have been dealing with this alot lately as I reside on an EU server with a 600ms ping to the WvW server. On NA servers I sit around 190-200ms ping. If I reroute my connection through Dallas, my connection gets worse. If I reroute my connection through Germany, it improves slightly. I live in Australia so it makes no sense that this would happen unless the EU servers are in EU somewhere.

No one is allowed to play WvW unless I’m in already. That way when I “work hard” capping the map no one can undo it without me being there. I don’t care if you play at a different time to me, you’re not allowed to play WvW without me because that’s unfair.

I don’t play overnight, I play during standard daytime hours for my timezone, I often find out in the morning everything has been capped by 1 server – that’s just how it goes. Suck it up or go back to a single player game where you can control when things happen by switching the game off.

I accept it, doesnt mean Ihave to like it. There is always room for improvement.

So why not correct also the amount of players per server. If you have 500 players you score more points then a server with 300 players. Also correct for that and your end result will be: draw

Each server has a MAXIMAL score of the SUM of all 3 servers.
This neither means more people more score (all have the same MAX-score), nor does it mean draw, you have to acquire and hold the objectives to get your score.

It only means: more people = more fights = more points.

Today it’s unfortunatly:
- less people and more PvD = more points
- more people and more fights = less points

Actually thats only login server or smth like that (and dont follow up with argument “why would they keep EU login server in NA” cause its invalid ). My WTFast finds closest proxy to gw2 eu servers in germany – that and 50-60 ping proves that its somewhere around there.

EU servers, actively recruit Americans.

Seriously, there are a lot of bored WvW’rs who might at least consider a vacation to max out their Wxp via PvD. I’m afraid I’m not one of them, but I don’t think it’s out of the realm of impossibility that some people won’t consider it.

It might be hard to convince them to join one of the national servers, but…
(if it’s that bad, you should be willing to try anything)

Playing at night in EU gold league (I mean, 1<->7 servers or more) is far, far from PvD, because all opponents have a strong night population.

This problem occurs when those servers are playing against lower tier servers, without strong night coverage. In this case, yes, it’s often PvD for few hours (usually 3 am- 7 am).

And, for your information : yes, we do have some players from Québec and from the french areas of Canada (their accent on TS is adorable ), but I would say they’re 20 max. Not enough to support the whole server…
