Have any1 ever test this?
I think it depends if they have emote tab open, not entirely sure…
My emotes are off, I found if I got zerged down atleast 5-10 people would stop and /sit/sit/sit/sit/sit/sit/sit/sit/sit/sit
….. And Elementalist.
/Emote (writting) anything you want, it shows as an emote, with your name starting the sentence, for exemple
Amazonico is kinda tired running around.
My question is, since its an emote, can we communicate with the enmey without inviting to party?
For enemy player it will looks like: “Desolation Silver Scout sits down”
Seafarer’s Rest (EU): Liicher (Engi), Lii Cher (Warrior), Swf (Elem),
Licharr (Guard), Lich Eir (Ranger), Alt Fh (Thief). Lii Cherr (Mesm), S Wf (Necr)

But, if you type the line, can they read it?
only some standard emotes can be seen, the stuff you type ends up as “..invader gestures” or something.
When you do a custom emote to an enemy – all they see is “Desolation Silver Scout Gestures”
they can’t see your custom emotes. Only standard ones
On wiki-
Custom emotes
You can create custom emotes by typing /me, /emote, /em, or /e followed by a space and the text to display as an emote. There are no associated animations for custom emotes, and opponents in World vs World will not be notified of these in their chat logs, they will see “[<world> <rank>] gestures.” instead. For example,
/me laughs in triumph displays “[Character Name] laughs in triumph” in a gray color, but the character will not perform the laughing emote. If done in World vs World by a player, a foe would see it as: “[World Name] Invader gestures.”
Honesty is not insulting, stupidity is.
