How has the 30/4 patch affected wvw for you?
I love the changes because I do enjoy strategy over mindless fighting. You now have to station sentries on your important areas. You now have to protect the most important thing called supply camp and dolyak. You can now, again, ninja stuff. A small outmanned team can now defend against a gigantic zerg with a simple use of well placed sieges.

Played two hours with my ele this morning.. roaming and taking camps seemed about the same, then defended a tower and keep: attacking zerg still shrugged off AC with little impact.
in other words, all claims of AC buffs being the end of the world are devoid of truth.

Hasn’t changed at all, except the racial ability “pain inverter” is now useless.
I never thought people should be rewarded more (and faster) for just outnumbering and trampling over everything and leave it unguarded (most of the time). Oh look, they flipped it back, yay more rewards for retaking it. I thought this was really…well…stupid.
I love the new changes. Players can no longer just run up and hit a door to annoy their opponent. Servers will now actually have to have scouts at towers/keeps (some already did).
Siege (well, at least arrow carts) actually hurt. There is no reason 50 players should be able to ball up to negate everything (a-net…*cough, remove the aoe cap, *cough). The carts used to only kill lowbies/upleveled folks. Now, it actually hurts most players who just stand there mindlessly (not paying attention) beating on a door. Before they would just go…heh, it looks like it’s raining and my health bar isn’t moving…we’re good.
Now they go…ummm, we should pay more attention and actually use some tactics beyond biggest zergball wins man-moding everything, cause half the zerg just died.
For all of my angst about the confusion nerf, I am elated at the changes overall. So much so, I even bought some gems for my wife to get more minipets.
