Currently players are able to avoid being stomped and not be worth points by simply clicking on their WvW tab and pressing the button in the bottom right corner “Leave the Mists”

This needs to be fixed. When in combat the button should be disabled.

Well, they still give you the EXPM and the loot, as well as the satisfaction of having outplayed them. Even with the fix you suggest, if a player REALLY didn’t want to give points to your server, he could just Alt-F4. Just be glad most players are fair-play.

You don’t get exp and you don’t get loot.

I have experienced this too several times. Either they were on a queue for another map or simply left WvW. But it seems that this prevents you to get loot and exp.

It happens rarely though in my experience, so I do not think this is a very pressing issue. On the other hand I can’t imagine that this would be too hard to fix.

it should just make you happy if they leave wvw when you try to stomp

The price for using this exploit is sitting in the back of the 80 man queue. Not worth the effort to troll an opponent out of a loot bag, unless you know you’ll drop a Precursor.

There are lots of servers with no queue’s, and lots of times of the day as well. I can see that this wouldn’t be a problem if you have a huge map queue. But for servers that next to never queue, this can be irksome.

Thankfully not been bothered by this myself.

Yup, the other day there I encountered an enemy Necro that did this every time he was downed and laughed every time he returned. No queues down my end so there’s no down side for people that do this, a small issue, but an issue regardless.

You used to be able to alt-F4 and deprive your killers of XP, loot, and whatnot, but they did fix that. Hopefully they fix this sooner or later as well.

Personally i find it way more satisfying to see someone doing alt f4 or whatnot to avoid the stomp. The loot isnt that awesome anyway.

just faced a condition tank thief that did this twice today. Pretty annoying and he should be punished for alt+f4 and running a crappy build and still dying to my semi glass thief.

This haha. if someone wants to leave to deprive you of that 700 exp and 12 world exp let them.
