How will non-WvW servers get compensated?
I come from a server that has a very high PVE poplulation and a low-med WvW population that is disappearing every week. The PVE population could care less if WvW does well or not because they don’t even notice any difference in their farm drops or other PVE rewards if we do well or poorly. PVE players not contributing to WvW yet getting any kind of WvW reward bothers me a lot.
Anet please:
Stop rewarding people who don’t contribute to WvW with WvW items or bonus’.

Everyone here is excited about the upcoming WvW league, but I have to ask some important questions. I read that the league will reward the winning servers with bonuses that affect PvE as well.
Then, what happens to PvE player bases? Should they all switch servers to the winning WvW servers? Is that an intended solution for balancing out servers, by filling up the top WvW servers with non-WvW players?
This will also heavily drop the populations of the losing servers. Is there any plan to eventually eliminate or merge those servers?
Didn’t you look at the forums the day after the league announcement? No one is excited. The devs are totally out of touch — just refer to the infamous “test your skill against higher ranked servers” quote.
OP- just think of the relative rewards between pve and wvw for a second. One scarlet invasion will yield you easily 30 chests (and that’s if you take it easy). Chances of being denied that chest: zero.
Compare that to wvw where you might fight over a tower for an hour, and finally after all that effort you miss the lord by one second and don’t get a chest.
The rewards for winning the league won’t be great- if they are too good then Vizi on EU will get completely swamped with transfers and the regular wvw’rs won’t have a chance to log in when queues hit 3-4 hours.
