Well yeah, except it wasn’t tower, it was several different towers and rescue deployments throughout the night. But as soon as we started dropping teammates who were going offline, we had to adjust so we took couple hours stand at Quentin. As much as it was farming (kills, badges,gold), it was also a great training. There were probably some of our best “outnumbered battles” tonight both in the open and during tower defense.

Also we were a huge attention draw for both BB and Kodash.

Yes, ofc it was several towers. I was more referring to as you took 1 tower and held it for a long time at a time and then went on to next one. Good job in any case.

Had some really good fights yesterdaynight on Kodash BL. Holding off both BB and Kodash from our (fully) upgraded Bay was a challenge and a very fun one at that. Props to both teams for putting up a fight as good as they can, despite unfavorable odds. I had to leave for dinner at some point and never got back in, but I suspect the tension was still present throughout the remainder of the night.

Keep up the good work, and take Fay’s post on the first page to heart: it’s good constructive advice that will make the fights more exciting and close, which is what we all want right?

Had some great battles last night on EB. I tagged along with GH and have to say. It was the best enjoyment I’ve had since the game started. Great tactics against Hordes of Kodash and Baruch, ( think we only lost one battle in Langor). There were some epic battles with persistant attacks especially by Kodash, in Quentin, then Baruch had a couple of go’s.
Can only imagine the names we were being called after we reppelled attack after attack. LOL
Had to laugh at one point when the 10-15 GH and a couple of randoms, ( including myself) took on a Kodash zerg about 30-40 strong. After bout 10 mins they eventually pushed us back, (or was it a tactical withdrawl?)
I am only a level 50 necro, ( started at lvl 45 at beginning of night), and I thought I would get owned rotten, but was not the case.
Just shows you don’t need numbers to mount an effective defense or even attack, all you need is good organisation and tactics.
GH thanks for the great night an look forward to seeing u guys again.

Indeed, some people on Deso are starting to act like members of that guild that shall not be named.

We had our members stuck in queue for 2 hours+ and finally giving up when they couldn’t get in.

2hours oO, Kodash at primtime has max queues on eb for about 10min, mostly no queues on desolation or the other maps

Hmm not looking at the score but looking at the fights, i have to say..

Its Kitty Kitty more fun to play in WvW, finding these 10 vs 15 battles visa versa. More intense more skill based! And no culling what so ever.

Wish these skirmishes are more in other Tiers, cause what ive seen in T1 its all about the zerg, and you dont need player skill to beat them, you need teamspeak and a big zerg.

So guys lets stay in T2 for a while, more fun here

I must say it is good to see some heavy fights on the open field…..props to anyone that dares to charge FG in the open….respect to you…and keep it comming…i dont see any guilds that really catch my eye in skills….but only 1 guild came close….really good combinations of fields and teamplay..think they are from BB…tag is DR or DK…cant recall. always like to see this in a guild trying to kill red players

There’s no guild with such tag or similar in BB as far as i know.

Anyways, do you think the annouced reset is going to be a problem? It doesnt’t encourage fighting strong servers after the reset.

In hindsight had we been fortunate enough to face both BB and Kodash three months back I think our servers would have been a great matchup. I’m actually going to miss both servers.

Despite us beating you (who cares) both servers put up a fight constantly keeping the pressure on. You have no idea how refreshing it is to actually see other servers with fighting spirit instead of running to a fully sieged up tower at first sight of half their numbers (we know who I’m referring too).

For what it’s worth I salute both Kodash and Baruch Bay, our enemies on the battlefield but our brother’s and sister’s in spirit!

Yeah man some good fights indeed and the zerg reference was just a joke! You definitely stood out from the other Kodash guilds we’ve faced.

How’s the new culling been for you? Going to take some getting used to for many of us, having the raid leader/commander disappear is terrible and the one fight we had against you up above the entrance to Vale culled so heavily we couldn’t see the ranged players standing on the ground!

Let’s hope ArenaNet can sort their system out in the future!

From around 18:00 – 21:00 gmt [EXG] had around 20 players, I recall seeing [Dkr] around as well but not sure of the numbers. Regarding the other guilds I didn’t pay enough attention to take note particularly.

As for us “losing tier 1” – well that’s just how the point system works, we placed #2 in the last tier 1 matchup but due to Elona fighting only Kodash mostly and gaining massive points their rating allowed them to replace us. Kinda like the points Desolation is amassing now even though we’re fighting two servers instead of one.

This is true, Elona had an easy time last week and gained massive points, since they outnumber Kodash by a huge margin and Arborstone became almost extinct.

Overall, I think Desolation is stronger than Elona.

Was roaming around with a few SQ guildies. Didn’t see KoA. And if we did we ran around them 3-4 vs 20 isn’t my thing. Though i noticed Kodash had another huge blob (40is i guess) in deso between 20:00-21:00.

Also like to thank BB for their many 10-15 sqauds assaulting towers and sneaking up on bay several times. Was fun defending against such tactical sqauds

Was alot of fun in BB border yesterday:) props to kodash and BB ….was fighting you both trying to destroy our trebs:) ….we finally got Hills but good resistance….but you had FG and GH there so i understand after 4 wiped you just tried to siege us hehe…..good effort tho i like these portalassault:) especially BB was persitent.
we got kicked from BB border after a few hours so we hopped to Deso….was getting late aswell so we got halve our numbers(10-12) then came the big BB zerg 50+ lol after we almost got the whole border they wiped us a few times….but we didnt gave up and got hills with help of Iron.

Yes, yesterday was a great WvW night for us. From improvised 3 or 4-round GvG vs EoW near south supply, to stand on Kodash resp tower (our specialty as it seems), to Hills siege where we eventually facerubbed reinforced inner door under massive AoE from the walls and behind the door including 5 arrow carts and cata, to trying ninja-cap Garrison with less than 10-men group and one golem as a closing mission which didn’t went all that well lol when we got to the lord room and got run over by BB defenders.

What a night it was!

We really tried alot to hold this but no chance
