Just throwing out an idea, since it appears we’ll never get another WvW tournament and a chance to earn WvW Tournament Claim Tickets again (for those of us that still want a few Mistforged skins) I’m wondering why not make these weapons purchasable for Badges of Honor. And I’m not suggesting making them cheap, but at least make them obtainable again for 750 or 1000 badges or something. That’s got to be about equivalent to the participation needed to earn Claim Tickets during the tournament.

Anyway, just a thought.

Really… There needs to be a way to utilize these badges of honor as a currency.

Tickets for badges is a good idea and makes them a lot more useful. +1

I’m fine with that. Not because I don’t think there won’t be another WvW tournement, but because Badges of Honor and WvW rewards in general are greatly lacking. Anything that makes WvW more rewarding and provides more incentives, I’m perfectly happy with.

Exactly this would love to see content use for badges that is more rewarding.

Esp as the armour costs badges and money and then you cannot MT or salvage it. It works out cheaper to get it from temples.

Good idea. Having those weapons is not relevant of any status anymore so might as well make them easier to get : )

its kind of awesome that way. the weapons all basically say ‘i am a wvw vet who competed in tournaments’. much more prestigious than if you could get them with badges from eotm.

Or it means that “I’m a PvEer who only came to WvW a few times when there was a tournament so I could get the weapon skins, then never went back.”

Sucks being 100 tickets short of finishing the Mistforged set you want. I don’t care about being prestigious or what anyone else thinks of my character, I just like several of the skins and want to finish the weapon set I use.

And with badges, they’d be handed out like candy to the eotm heroes. I want to see wvw reward tracks or more tournaments to earn wvw skins. Maybe even a Mistforged Hero armor set.
